Family-run tavern, nice mother and son, very good food, my partner and I had 2 lamb chops which were fabulous with baked potatoes, good house wine, coffee so good that I would have drank another.... when we return to Rome it will be an obligatory stop to return there to eat....P.S. the lady recommended trying the Roman artichokes we only took one to taste it but next time we will take more.....we are the couple with the lost cell phone the lady will remember us....

We were served very friendly there. For lunch I chose the menu including 0.25 liters of house wine and a final espresso.

I returned to this restaurant after a few years but I was totally disappointed, terrible quality, potatoes probably reheated from the day before, the chicken cutlet the same, dirty glasses, water bottles too... the owner also pointed this out and apologised. I'm sorry because I had good memories of this place, I hope maybe next time it will be better.

Great location for lunch if you are catching a train or bus as it is very near by. However it is very popular as the food is excellent so you need a good bit of time as service can be a little laid back but well worth the wait. The owner is hands on a lovely character talking to each customer.
I had the daily lunch special at €21 which was 2 courses, water, wine & an expresso. Great value.
I had the fettuccine and ragu sauce first which was very tasty and then the pork with mushrooms and lovely fresh bread. So tasty.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch.

The first day I arrived in Rome I tried this Osteria because it was so close to my hotel and it was a complete success! The food is homemade and delicious, the treatment is familiar and very friendly. I have repeated a couple of times and it never disappoints. Highly recommended 100%

Son divine sensazioni mai assopite quelle ch'io percepisco ogni qualvolta il canino folle ed il robusto molare a tratti azzannan oppur mordicchian pregevoli tiramisù con cremoso mascarpone giallo limone ed amabili spolverate di cacao magro oppur deliziosi spaghetti cacio e pepe cosiccome gradevolissimi saltimbocca alla romana con tenere verdure alla griglia qual sontuosa appendice in una fresca giornata ottobrina
