Osteria that was recommended to us by the owner of our accommodation. A small tavern in the heart of Siena, the owner is very kind and professional, a small but very nice environment where dogs are allowed, we were with ours. Appetizer of Cinta cured meats, mixed crostini and Cinta steak accompanied with a flask of wine. Prices more than fair for the quantity and quality. I highly recommend it. Well done!!!!

Abbiamo passato qui il Capodanno. Menù semplice, ma tradizionale. Lo avevamo scelto alla fine perché proprio a 5 minuti a piedi da Piazza del Campo dove si sarebbe poi tenuto il concerto di Emma. La cosa che però non ci è piaciuta è che ci hanno messo in un tavolo decisamente piccolo per sei persone, una ragazza era letteralmente a contrasto con una colonna, e per tutta la sera ha fatto fatica a muoversi/alzarsi anche solo per andare in bagno. Capiamo che era la sera di capodanno e il locale era pieno, ma a nostro avviso potevano un attimo avere un occhio di riguardo in più!

Il Celliere a Castagnoli

21/10/2023: Abbiamo alloggiato alla Rocca di Castagnoli in occasione de L’Eroica ed abbiamo approfittato del ristorante, posto all’interno dello splendido complesso medievale. Pietanze superbe, complimenti alla Chef ed a tutto lo staff.
19/08/2023: Ristorante da 5 stelle semplicemente perché di più non si poteva darne. Un locale con una cura del dettaglio che non avevo mai visto. Personale efficiente gentile e preparato. Qualità di vino e cibo impossibili da descrivere. Esperienza veramente ottima.

01/04/2024: The first courses were very good (pinci and macaroni), polenta with very tender wild boar even if it wasn't all wild boar, desserts, the caramel panna cotta was quite disappointing, lacking vigor. 1 starter, 2 first courses and a second course with a Noble €90, honest. Friendly and helpful staff
26/03/2024: Very good food, friendly and professional staff, small and welcoming place. Starter, 2 first courses, a dessert and a bottle of wine (32 euros) total 69 euros.
