Osteria La Piola In Milano

01/04/2024: I had dinner here with some friends. The location is very nice, a traditional trattoria. Exactly like the menu which offers numerous dishes typical of the Lombard tradition. Our friends had a platter of cold cuts as an appetizer which I did not taste, but I can say that the salami was cut 1 cm thick. The dishes we took: two first courses (the photos of which I attach) and a second course of meat were not very good. In particular, the second course of pork with potatoes was excessively oily and the potatoes seemed boiled rather than baked, we couldn't finish it. The staff was unprepared: one waiter listed the crème brulé among the desserts, while the other then claimed that it was not part of their menu. It wasn't a disastrous experience, but neither was it up to what one would expect from a good Lombard restaurant.

31/03/2024: Dinner with friends, nice welcoming place and excellent food... kind and friendly staff. We often return for 5 star lunches or dinners!
