The food is tasty and of high quality, the service is professional. We waited for food for not even 10 minutes. Pleasant ambience at Piazza Amfiteatro. Definitely a recommendation.

Friendly staff, fast service, super helpful owner. Refined dishes, well seasoned, all excellent! We were there for lunch, we'll be back for dinner!

The food is good: the tordelli are good, the Frantoiana soup is excellent and the Florentine steak is perfect. The staff were friendly, especially Filippo. Enriched by the scenic amphitheater square, with outdoor tables and also a large internal room. Good prices.

Lucca is a great city for Italian food. Almost everyone competes to be the best. Osteria Parlascio in Piazza del Anfiteatro is a magnificent place. Not only for the food which is fantastic but the exception service. La bistecca a la Fiorentina is just perfect along with the pasta and more. Don't miss this place

Undecided whether to leave 5 stars, or four stars: 4 and a half stars. I had booked by telephone for 5 people for lunch and given the season I was very kindly and logically offered the possibility of being able to choose at the moment, arriving a little early, whether to stay outside or inside. We arrived a little early and opted for the outside. Nothing to say about the location, because it is directly in the beautiful amphitheater square. It is actually a tavern, because it reflects the spartan layout of the tables, but not simplistic/minimal and I would say that it goes very well. Welcomed with great availability and kindness by the staff and, I believe, one of the owners. Ordered two large platter starters of cold cuts, cheeses, honey and jam, which are for four people and were very good, although lacking in Tuscan crostini and bruschettine. I took homemade tortelli (I'm not from Lucca, but I told the very kind waitress to call them and write tordelli lucchesi on the menu, since they are a source of pride and an excellent Lucchese specialty.) with meat ragù: excellent and with plenty of ragù. Pici cacio e pepe which were good and very full of cheese: a little heavy for my daughter but good, excellent for me. Pici with burrata, pistachios and bacon were decent but could be improved, due to the burrata having "dried out" and making the dish too thick. Pici with Cinta Senese white ragù simply fantastic. Lots of Ragù (finally a restaurant that seasons its dishes well!), not greasy, not heavy and very, very tasty. A second course of chicken and potatoes, whose name I don't remember on the menu: a nice portion, very well presented, with sauce and really, really well done and excellent. Small problem with a small bottle of natural water at room temperature which, despite the search by the very kind and helpful waiter, was not found and we took one from the fridge. Two coffees. We were also given a discount and the final cost was excellent. At the checkout I complimented the tordelli, the pici with cinta ragù and the chicken. Excellent tavern! I will definitely return to try other dishes.

Enchanting and romantic place on the amphitheater square, good food, nice plating. Good service.

Location interna con ampia sala in stile moderno, dehoor posizionato in una delle piazze caratteristiche di Lucca. Personale giovane, veloci. Cucina : ottime scelte con piatti della tradizione toscana e lucchese, pietanze abbondanti, e molto gustose, portate anche esteticamente divertenti. Consiglio: tortelli lucchesi e peposo. Qualità prezzo: ottimo considerato la posizione del locale. Unica nota negativa: il bagno, dovrebbe essere curato meglio.

Nach einem anstrengenden Rundgang durch das völlig überfüllte Lucca, kamen wir mittags auf die wunderschöne Piazza dell Anfiteatro. Wir wählten dieses schöne Restaurant auf der Schattenseite der Piazza und wurden direkt freundlich bedient. Es war noch früh und wir wählten wieder als Vorspeise Bruschetta, dann Spaghetti Carbonara mit Trüffel und Pasta mit Tomatensoße, Buratta und Pistazien. Das Essen war ganz hervorragend, dazu kam noch ein Gitarrenspieler, der für eine romantische Atmosphäre sorgte.Italien pur. Das WC war auch ok. Glatte Empfehlung!!!
