Found by chance while passing through Foiano, we stopped for a lunch break. We enjoyed a delicious Chianina DOC burger. The owners are really friendly and you can see that they believe in their work. Highly recommended. 😉

Ristorante turistico, coraggioso, che propone una cucina di pesce in un ambiente tipicamente votato a piatti di terra. Prodotti di qualità, che vanno comunque apprezzati da una clientela che cerca qualcosa di diverso dalla solita bistecca alla brace. Servizio attento e cortese.

OSTERIA a few steps from the center of Foiano, nice place and kind and courteous owner.... we had an appetizer... very good, both the cold cuts and the cheeses recommended, a sore point is the PICI WITH TUSCAN RAGU which had nothing of ragù and with pecorino... Tuscan ragù is something else... unfinished dish (BAD) the tavern offers mainly fish, perhaps it would have been better to choose something else....

Small but very nice environment.. we took 2 first courses of fish and 2 second courses of fish and they were all really very good.. especially the tuna tataki.. fair prices for fresh fish..

Abbiamo pranzato in questa piccola Osteria, posta nel centro di Foiano della Chiana. Straordinarie le pietanze che ci sono state proposte, come straordinario il vino. Ritornerò sicuramente per assaggiare nuove pietanze.

19/02/2024: I have been to this restaurant several times for dinner, the last time last week. Excellent quality food served to perfection, really good raw fish accompanied by excellent table service. It is certainly a high-level venue but not exclusive. I highly recommend it for a good dinner as a couple but also in company. In the summer it is also very nice for the tables outside which are located in a beautiful Piazza Aretina.

07/01/2024: Very nice and efficient waitress even though the place was very crowded. We were a table and we all ate well, from pizza to first course, second course and dessert. The price is normal. Courteous and friendly pizza chef. When we are in the area we will definitely return.
