Panificio Caliendo In Palma campania

04/03/2024: Arrived shortly after 1 PM for lunch to find the parking lot completely full. Had to wait until someone left to park. Ordered stuffed grape leaves with spinach rice and warm Greek salad and a side order of spinach pie. The stuffed grape leaves looked delicious, but we decided to peel off and not eat the outside grape leaves because they were leathery and chewy. Unfortunately, the rice and meat filling by itself was tough and dry. The egg lemon sauce was nearly non-existent and did little to make the dish more appetizing. The warm Greek salad (roasted veggies with kalamata olives and feta) tasted as if the lid of the oregano jar had fallen off and were bitter and overwhelmed by the herb. The best part of the meal was the spinach rice and the generous side order of spinach pie. Service was pleasant, however, and other diners seemed to be enjoying their meals.
