Paradiso Perduto In Venezia

Exquisite typical food served by friendly and pleasant staff in a cheerful and familiar environment. Paradise Lost is a safe haven to satisfy the desire to immerse yourself in the Venetian climate.

We went because the guide of a free tour recommended it to us. The place was very nice, but the tables were very close to each other, it was very overwhelming. There were few waiters for so many people and they seemed overwhelmed. The first person who served us was on the terrace and while we were waiting for a free table to be available we asked him for something to drink, but we had to ask him several times, because despite speaking Spanish he was not very alert. Luckily the food was very good and abundant, the bad thing is that as soon as I ate the first fried fish it had a hair on it. The good thing is that the waiter who served us here, a bald guy, was very friendly and attentive, for him I give them three stars, otherwise I would give them less. As for the tip, they compulsorily charge you, in our case 21 euros, on the bill they put it as a "coperto" concept. It seems abusive to me.

Friendly service, everything was slightly chaotic but quite professional and excellent food in a rustic atmosphere, with fine music (jazz) in the background, an absolutely recommendable restaurant!

I work in Venice.. For me Paradise is certainly among the best.

The place is jammed packed in the evenings. Don't forget to make reservations. The menu keeps changing according to seasonal ingredients available. Dishes are so authentic and flavorful that you just cannot go disappointed. I am not a seafood person and i loved everything i tried!

There's a bit of a wait, but the wait is definitely worth it. The first courses and the mixed fish starter are delicious. Furthermore, the restaurant is located along a beautiful canal

I loved it, the best pasta I have eaten in all of Venice!!

Like Venice: a special place but now invaded by tourists (who eat carbonara or cacio e pepe). Patience. Despite this, it remains an excellent place: the food is good and it offers many typical dishes. Don't miss the appetizers (folpetti, cod, saor, canocie) and fried fish. The bigoli are also well made and plentiful. There are also some good vegetarian alternatives. House wine? Why not! Venetian prices, but affordable. Despite the huge amount of work, the service is quite smooth, the staff is friendly and ready to joke, but also to give advice. Don't come here if you have the "pay and demand" claim, because it is a tavern and they can easily send you to hell without the regret of having lost you as customers. Also great for smoking, although there is relatively little space to do so.

Esperienza molto positiva, servizio eccellente, curato e attento. Piatti molto ben preparati e abbondanti. Vino della casa ottima. Da provare sicuramente!

Tolles Lokal. urig mit toller Stimmung, Speisen einfach perfekt, v.a. die selbst gemachten Nudeln, toller Wein, ztw Lifemusik. Einziger Nachteil: zu bekannt, ohne Reservierung geht gar nichts.
