Pasticceria Invaso In Venezia

Historic pastry shop, I have lived in Mestre for many years and I have always had a good time in this pastry shop. Wide assortment of pastas and pastries and variety in cakes. This week I bought two cakes, a sublime fruit cake with Chantilly cream which was literally devoured... I bought another cake yesterday, a millefeuille for a birthday. Consumed an hour after bringing it home... unfortunately it didn't have the same success... the millefeuille was made of "rubber"... Too bad because the cream was delicious. My dinner, with about ten people, ended with criticism of the cake... My mistake was, perhaps, ordering a millefeuille the night before for dinner the next day... but it was enough to advise against the choice if there wasn't time to make the fresh, crunchy pastry.
