Located at the end of the old town. Not too crowded like the front right on the piazza. The desserts were good, as was the coffee.

La Pasticceria Petrai é da generazioni la Pasticceria, con la P maiuscola, di Massa Marittima. Da provare assolutamente la diplomatica (a esaurimento: chi prima arriva…) e il tipico gelato da passeggio massetano, la testa di moro. Personale cortese e sorridente, locale sempre impeccabile, ma soprattutto i titolari fanno sentire tutti i clienti a casa. Una tappa imprescindibile se passate a Massa Marittima!

The cappuccino was rich, smooth, and expertly crafted. It set the perfect tone for the rest of our breakfast. But the highlight for us was the fresh croissant. The buttery, flaky goodness was a treat for our taste buds, and we loved the fact that they also offered a "natural" option. It's not always easy to find such authentic and high-quality pastries at other places, so we were pleasantly surprised by the variety and care given to each item on their menu. The combination of excellent coffee and mouthwatering croissants has made De Petrai a favorite breakfast spot in town.

A great café with delicious things like crostatas, croissants or even ice cream. Perfect for anyone looking for a little something in between. Very nice and friendly staff. In my opinion, the price-quality ratio here is very good. I would happily recommend it! :)

28/09/2023: Io e mio marito avevamo un appuntamento nel primo pomeriggio a Massa Marittima e quindi per pranzo dovevamo trobare qualcosa da mettere sotto i denti. Passando in macchina ho visto al volo questo posto e ci siamo fermati ... ma quanto abbiamonfatto bene!!! Abbiamo preso um tagliere per 2, super abbondante ed i salumi superbuoni, così come i formaggi. Poi abbiamo preso i dolcetti della casa, tuttindeliziosi! Siamo rimasti stupiti dal conto... prezzi veramente bassi per la qualità del cibo!!! Oltre alla panza piena felice, siamo usciti anche con una cassa di vino 😁! Spero in futuro di tornarci, abitassi nei paraggi, sarebbe il mio posto fisso 😊
20/09/2023: Avevamo letto le buone recensioni e così ci siamo fermati pensando di mangiare un panino ma con nostra sorpresa fanno anche primi piatti , difatti abbiamo preso un risotto e una pasta Casareccia al ragù tutte e due abbondanti e ottimi di qualità e cucinati perfetti …. Tanta scelta di taglieri e ottimi dolci fatti in casa .Ci rifermeremo .
