A true culinary institution in the neighborhood where I lived for many years. I returned to this pastry shop after many years and I was surprised by the long queue that is always in front of the new entrance. The Maritozzi, one of their classics, are always among the best in the city, absolutely worth trying

One of the flagship pastry shops in Rome. The prices depend on the quality of the product (it is not cheap). I recommend the picota panzerotti and anything that has cream (panna), very delicious.

I did it even though it was Easter Sunday! thank you! ! crowded. First Maritozzo! It was fluffy and I ate it right away. The store clerk also spoke English and was the kindest person I've ever met.

After years of fruitlessly touring all the Neapolitan pastry shops in Rome to find a worthy pastiera, I found the best here. Typical, soft and moist as it should be, balanced in aromas and flavours, perfect cooking, in a word: excellent. It doesn't even cost more than elsewhere. Yet another confirmation from one of the best Roman pastry shops.

Pasticceria storica, a conduzione familiare, eccellenza nei dolci ed in particolare nei stratosferici maritozzi con panna. Un po’ di coda ma ne vale la pena.

Colazione con amici in questo locale storico conosciuto soprattutto dai romani! Pazienza per le code per accedere: si verrà premiati da un maritozzo superlativo e da un buon caffè! Consigliatissimo!

05/04/2024: The guy serving us obviously loves the products he sells and took time to explain things to asked based on our questions. I'm not a gelato expert and so I can't say if this was the best or not best but we thoroughly enjoyed it. I was dubious at first because I like to buy gelato in the tins with lids on them but after doing a taste test and asking another customer we were super confident to buy from here. A bit more expensive than other places for sure but very enjoyable and very intense flavours. Gluten free cones too
