Like at home, you can't ask for better than this. Quick lunch, everything excellent. Mandatory stop!!

Calling it a restaurant is too much, but you eat very well and spend little. Little choice and an ugly place but Cesare, the owner, makes everyone eat well with fresh local products.

We ate very well... I recommend it to anyone passing through the area...

So it was St Stephen’s day- my wife and I were staying on an estate In a remote corner of Chianti- several of our plans collapsed due to unfamiliarity with local customs of this holiday. Our last ditch plan to stock up on local Maptepulciano wines in the grocery store even collapsed- making our way home without groceries or a plan- we happened upon this restaurant. We were welcomed like locals- and invited to share in house made Pici. The house wine was excellent- the Pici was memorable- and the charm of this experience warmed these two hungry foreigners for a long time to come. The price was modest- and as we were leaving- the owner indulged my request for a slice of beef for a hungry farm cat back at the estate that adopted us. Make the trip- you won’t be disappointed.

Piccolo locale vecchio stile molto accogliente e familiare. Pasta fresca fatta da loro con sughi tradizionali e carne di allevamento locale. Da provare senza indugi.
