Rifugio Panormo In Ottati

The Panormo refuge is an excellent starting point for an excursion to the summit of Mount Panormo. You pass through thick beech forests to then reach the top from where you dominate the valley below. The route is an uninterrupted climb of about 4 km with a difference in altitude of many hundreds of metres. The path is well marked and marked by CAI symbols. Pay attention to climatic conditions that can be an impediment. Use suitable shoes and calculate the return times well. There are numerous other trails to visit nearby.

I've been going there for years and it's always a guarantee... The road is entirely paved and it is easy to get there (there are also signs so it is difficult to get lost) In terms of catering, I tried both the old management (the one managed by the good soul of Pasquale) and the current new one and I must say that I had a great time with both. Furthermore, this year, in honor of Pasquale, the mountain community built an adventure park (to try) and restored everything (playground, fences, tables, etc.) It's always a pleasure to come, I recommend it to everyone.

Da anni ormai ogni estate vengo a mangiare al Rifugio Panormo che per me è diventato un luogo del cuore. Non ho ancora provato a restare la notte ma non vedo l’ora di provare. Per chi ama la montagna è fantastico. Dopo una passeggiata rilassante o dopo aver raggiunto la vetta del Panormo, puoi mangiare nel bosco, respirando aria pulita e rinfrescandoti d’estate. Cucina locale ottima, pasta fatta in casa come da tradizione e carne alla griglia top. Grazie ad Assunta! Weekend solo prenotando il giorno prima perché lì non prende la rete cellulare (finalmente liberi dal telefono!)
