Discovered a few years ago, this restaurant was immediately very engaging to the point that when we are in the area we always try to make a stop. I'm not that expert but traditional dishes are, to my palate, truly irresistible. So absolutely worth trying are "pasticcio" and "salama da sugo", dishes perhaps a little difficult due to the mix of flavors which however cannot be missed as knowledge in the varied range of proposals of Italian cuisine. Don't forget the very interesting wine list.

Good choice, from classic appetizers with fried gnocco to egg with truffle. The tortello with pumpkin and Treviso radicchio is good. Negative note on the non-daily bread and the service was a little slow, 45 minutes to get the gnocco, but expected as it was Easter Monday. Very acceptable price. Advised.

Cucina ferrarese in ambiente glamour. Accattivanti carta dei vini e carrello dei distillati. Bravo il sommelier. Una menzione particolare anche per i dolci. Servizio generalmente ok (una delle ragazze era in serata no, ma può capitare). Abbiamo capito che si erano persi la nostra prenotazione via mail, ma hanno rimediato prontamente. Conto onesto per la qualità.

Non andavo in questo ristorante da un po' di tempo. Devo dire che il livello è salito molto. Ambientazione sempre molto piacevole. Servizio super-competente e cortese. Portate: prima erano buone, ora decisamente molto, ma molto meglio. Prezzi: onestissimi rispetto alla qualità complessiva.

Presidio eat and sleep

07/03/2024: I only tried food experience so I can't evaluate the rooms. We ate the best creamed cod ever, but not only that, the burrata and lime shrimp risotto was excellent and also the roasted octopus on mashed potato. The off-menu items, the crudités, are also excellent... just one flaw regarding this last point: when an off-menu item is presented it is also advisable to talk about the price so as not to find a surprise at the checkout. The wine cellar is also excellent.
17/02/2024: Pino's star raises the bar and presents itself at the Presidio for a business lunch. Location not easy to find without navigator but it immediately presents itself well looked after with very friendly staff I can't speak about the menu card because the lunch was already planned Everything Excellent fish, the entrée was also ok, the starter too except the grilled and the au gratin. High quality raw materials, minimal portions but it's ok. I woke up hungry but through no fault of theirs, I promised myself to return and study the menu proposals better. .

22/03/2024: One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to.. very friendly and polite, one of the waitresses speaks English and they are very kind.. the food tastes AMAZING.. best pasta I’ve ever tasted
12/03/2024: Very welcoming and pleasant environment, the two ladies who served us were very kind, professional and helpful, making us feel totally at ease. Exceptional food, special, extremely fresh and tasty raw food. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food and absolutely right portions. Highly recommended place if you happen to pass through Ferrara.
