Perfect place to eat good fish. Frequented by both tourists but also locals. Friendly and helpful staff; dishes with correct portions and very good, with fresh fish. Prices in line with Venice, but nothing exaggerated. If we have the chance we will definitely be back!

Straordinario! Absolutely authentic food served by gentle Italians with humor. An unlimited list of pizzas, good wines and delicious desserts. It's the place for fresh fish also with a nice view to Murano from Venezia.

Located fundamentally a starting point for getting to Murano or Burano, you get a feeling of the open sea when you go to this nicely decorated restaurant. Even if it is not, far from it, a dish from the region, they serve excellent pizzas but also very good pasta and veal liver, on the other hand one of the dishes from the Veneto. Friendly staff and fast service.

Magnificent spaghetti alla busara, Parma ham and friendliness. I recommend it.

Best restaurant in Venice! 10 metres from the water taxi stop at Fondamente Nova is this fabulous restaurant. Although it has pizzeria in the name and has over 30 different pizzas on the menu, do not be fooled, this is still an excellent restaurant for food that is not pizza. As a novelty, I had the “Donald Trump” pizza. Bacon, two eggs and chips on pizza, but my wife, being slightly more sensible, had the grilled chicken breast with aubergine. Both meals absolutely fantastic. We had a bottle of wine at the restaurant for €17. When I looked, I could buy it at home in the supermarket for £27 (€30) I had the creme Catalans which is to all intensive purposes a crème brûlée, which came on fire and was probably the most delicious thing I’ve eaten in years. Great value?great atmosphere, great service and fantastic food.

Great location with a beautiful view over the water, however the food didn’t live up to it. My mushroom and provolone pizza was soggy and watery, with mushrooms that obviously came from a can and a layer of grease covering the whole thing. Service was quick and efficient. Edited to add that if you leave a lukewarm review the owner will apparently reply to call you stupid. What a charming establishment!

Expensive cover treated worse than tourists Good pizza

I wish we could have visited this restaurant more then once, unfortunantly we found this place on our last evening by chance. The food is great (the pasta was perfect, spaghetti pomodoro and tagilatelle al ragu) after that we had a "mixed meat platter" .. the meat was very well prepared and the portiones where nice. The price-quality ratio is exceptionell, much better then in some high end restaurants, perticullarly if you like something "simple" like a good beef steak.. there is a lot of pasta and pizza in venice, but this is a place where you can get that and also good meat/fish. The service was very friendly and competent, i wish we could have visited this place at least one more time. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed, it felt like a restaurant of locals by locals and for locals. Very authentic. Easy to reach with the water-bus (right next to the pier). We highly recommend this place to everybody.
