Quaint, smaller and less crowded than other trattoria in Trastevere with excellent food, especially fried artichoke, osso bucco and Tartanelle carbonara. I believe this restaurant might have been around since the 60s and while it keeps up with the times and has a large menu, it knows what it does well and proudly delivers.

What a great surprise to find this restaurant, as a tourist I am quite worried about falling into the Disneylands of Rome, this place has more than affordable prices and the taste of the food is delicious!!!! If you like truffles, the "Tonnarelli al Tartufo" is to die for. Thanks for everyone!!! 💛

Excellent restaurant in Trastevere, the best in all of Rome! The best amatriciana you will ever eat is here at Massi!! A simple and authentic place, with friendly staff who are keen to maintain the tradition of good Roman cuisine. We also ate an excellent carbonara and delicious saltimbocca with baked potatoes, all extraordinary!! I recommend anyone passing through Rome to go to Massi, you won't regret it, the prices are excellent too!

We went to this restaurant twice in the space of 2 days and had a great meal. Super Carbonara and Amatriciana. Abbacchio.....lots of stuff. Abundant dishes. Very nice waiters and owner.

One of the best Pasta I had in Italy. I ordered Trüffel oil Pasta and it was everything you could ever dream in a Pasta and the service was so good too.

Trastevere non tradisce mai. Ottima amatriciana e anche carciofo romana fritto. Porchetta eccezionale e anche i dolci. Da tornare

05/04/2024: Family atmosphere, really very good dishes (practically everything homemade), excellent service, MAGNIFICENT staff. Should I end up in Rome again, obviously a fixed stop
28/03/2024: All excellent...Spectacular Cacio e Pepe...Tasty Picchiapo', meatballs like the homemade ones. My son really enjoyed the Carbonara and the Coda alla Vaccinara. True Roman cuisine...months ago I ate in a famous Trattoria in Testaccio...there was no comparison... Trattoria Le Romane wins the comparison big time!!
