Ristorante dell'Hotel Villa Angela In Taormina

We have staid at Villa Angela from 16/9/2023 to 24/09/2023 and were completely overwhelmed. The staff is superfriendly and literally knows your wish before it is expressed. Lunch is offered in the restaurant (breakfast room) with a stunning view on the Mediterranean Sea. For diner the hotel offers superdelicious sandwiches and salads which we have enjoyed several times. The rooms are highclass and have a huge terrace. Breakfast selection is huge and very delicious. Situated approximately 200m above Taormina with a brilliant view onto Mediterranean Sea and underneath a well known church. The staff cannot be beaten in kindness and one feels like staying with family. We will for sure return and can highly recommend this place with 200%.

My daughter and I stayed here at the end of October 2023 for a special birthday treat. We had not been to Sicily before and we were looking at several hotels but for some reason we were drawn to Hotel Villa Angela. We made the right choice! The rooms are decorated in typical Sicilian style, the beds were clean and comfortable, there is a kettle with tea/coffee provided in the room (very important for Brits!), the entire hotel was immaculate and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was varied and very well presented (non dairy milk was provided as requested), the staff were all very friendly/helpful and could not do enough for you, the area was peaceful and the view from the balcony simply took our breath away. The hotel lays on a shuttle service (around 5 Euro) to take you up and down to central Taormina, if you don't want to walk. The holiday surpassed our expectations - the people, the fruit trees, the colours of the flowers, the scenery, Mount Etna dominating the horizon and of course Hotel Villa Angela being our home base. We did not want to leave! Taking the words from a certain song from the 80's, we won't forget about you...

Villa Angela : The Perfect way to Spend a Relaxing Week : Great Value for Money What a Wonderful way to spend a relaxing week. Hotel Villa Angel enjoys the most spectacular views over Mt Etna and the Town of Taormina as it sweeps down to the Ionian Sea. The Hotel is meticulously maintained and perfectly located. Rooms all have wonderful views and oversized balconies so that guests can take good advantage of the spectacular vista. Great Location Rooms all spotless and tastefully appointed. Excellent Breakfast and Delicious Lunch are served on the restaurant balcony well protected from the elements. Pretty Bar . Excellent staff; Ada , Charlie, GP at the front desk and Sam (and team) in the restaurant could not have been more helpful or efficient ; dealing with numerous requests with both good humour and expediency. Fantastic experience - This review is a little late but as they say “better late than never” We were there for 7 nights in later June. From the pick up at the airport to our last days there we had a great stay. Amazing staff, sparkling clean, the boutique hotel was just the perfect size for us. The views were incredible, sea views from everywhere, Mount Etna puffing away right in front of you every day, the rooms were spacious, the service was great - the entire staff were engaged, after a couple of days they would recall your room number when ordering, they were happy (in-spite I’d the hot temperatures). The front desk team always cheery and helpful. The van service to and from town center was a great benefit. Always on time. The pool was very relaxing and sparking clean. The food and drinks were also really good. Breakfast choices were plentiful, fresh and their lunch choices were delicious (I tried each of them during our stay). Katherine was very accommodating in helping to coordinate tours and recommendations on restaurants. (I would recommend the Gambino wine tour.) You won’t be disappointed staying here. Very adult friendly, there were very few children during our stay which we preferred. We will definitely return and highly recommend staying here.

Nel complesso una bellissima esperienza, camere non troppo grandi però con una vista panoramica su tutta la città veramente top. Parcheggio interno un po’ scomodo e piccolo. Personale veramente molto gentile, sorridente e disponibile a qualsiasi esigenza.

This is our second stay at Villa Angela. Both times we have visited in late October and the weather has been great - around 25C and no rain despite what the BBC weather app claims. All staff are very friendly and are always happy to help with our many questions. We were really pleased to meet Jim on Wednesday and he was happy to spend a few minutes chatting with us. Views of Etna and the sea from Villa Angela are amazing, going to enjoy this for the next few days before we return to normality!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Angela and the team made us feel like vip’s at all times! A special thanks to Ada for making us feel so welcome and providing a real personal touch in accommodating our every need throughout our stay. She also has an amazingly calming voice that I could imagine would relax even the most uptight of personalities! A special shout out to Sam and Luigi as well, really friendly guys and so helpful and polite! We stayed in the Leonardo Suite and it was spacious and comfortable with an awesome view of Mt Etna from the balcony and the bedroom window. As other reviewers have said, it’s a long walk if you went down to local shops and a killer (for us anyway) walking back up! We only made that mistake once btw 😊 We had dinner at the Al Saraceno restaurant which was just a short (but steep) walk from hotel. Food was excellent and a fantastic view of Taormina and Etna as the sun sets!
