Ristorante Eritrea In Roma

Going down the stairs of the Eritrea restaurant and being immediately surrounded by scents and warm atmospheres is just the prelude to a unique taste experience. Because once seated you are overwhelmed by the spicy flavors of the meats and vegetables served on the ingera, to be eaten strictly with your hands sharing with friends. Service and courtesy at the highest level, which is not at all a given. Highly recommended!

A pleasant discovery in the Ostiense area, or rather, I think I'm one of the few who doesn't know it yet. Very nice and welcoming place, where you can breathe a nice atmosphere. We tried several dishes, including red spiss, mixed starter and chicken zighini, all very good and very spicy; the particular thing was that we chose to eat with our hands, but it is not mandatory. Very nice and kind staff, fair prices! I will definitely return

very nice and quite well-kept place, the staff is very kind and attentive, the quality of the food is good..... honestly with less strong flavors than what I expected and what I had tried in the past in other Eritrean restaurants., at any anyway everything was very good even the Ethiopian beer 😋👍.....it's worth trying especially if you love this type of cuisine. the only thing I didn't like was the tea..... which we had at the end with the desserts, perhaps by mistake, because I thought it was a shot or little more of tea, but instead a whole cup arrived and honestly I found it not very spicy. there were 4 of us and we took a mixed starter x4 plus 4 meat-based main courses, 2 desserts, 2 beers, 2 cokes and water and 2 teas for €111. I would say excellent value for money. honorable mention for the Sambusa and the excellent felafel. I only have 1 criticism, given how the dishes are served they should bring at least 1 ingera each separately, because the one on the plate takes up a lot of moisture and tends to shatter as well as being difficult to use given the sauces put on it. not too often but I would happily go back.

Restaurant with just a few tables, a wonderful and very refined environment, the furnishings really take you to another place, the lights are relaxing and the lamps are more beautiful than the others, I really appreciated the details. I found the menu more interesting and extensive than other Eritrean restaurants I've tried and the food was delicious, I love spicy food, but I can't stand it very much and here even the spiciest dishes (perhaps adapted to an audience that isn't too accustomed to it), made me I still enjoyed all the flavours. I will definitely come back to try other things and enjoy some of the beautiful atmosphere!

Cibo speziato e ambiente prettamente in tema......cuoco eccellente e personale accogliente!!!!!

Siamo andati sta sera con una coppia di amici, da subito il locale ci ha fatto impazzire l’ambiente curato in ogni dettaglio. Cominciano con un antipasto divino, con una bellissima presentazione e due salse molto particolari. Sono arrivati poi i piatti a base di carne, il mio una tartare battuta con il peperoncino e un burro speziato, un insieme di sapori pazzeschi ed esplosivi. Ho assaggiato il miglior baklava e the del mondo sono stati entrambi deliziosi. Per finire un grandissimo ringraziamento alla ragazza in servizio che ci ha spiegato i piatti e ci ha fatto scoprire molte cose sul mondo etiope, è stata graziosa e cordiale. Torneremo sicuramente:)

ci siamo andati a cena circa 6 mesi fa ed è stata una bellissima scoperta, peccato solo che abitiamo dall'altra parte di Roma, altrimenti ci saremmo tornati a breve. Cibo, servizio e ambiente tutto ottimo. Assolutamente da consigliare

Adoro. Perfetto. Cibo davvero Saporito, servizio ok. Personalmente amo la cucina eritrea e l'ho provata diverse volte in giro per l'Italia e il Mondo. Per me il migliore eritreo di Roma.
