After a couple of hours of walking the gorgeous Ortigia , we got hungry, and I turned to Google Maps to find the right restaurant, and Google did not disappoint! Montecarlo is a Hidden Gem! The food was exceptional, and the service was even better!!! Regarding the food, I could taste the freshness and the high quality with every bite! The fritto misto was extraordinary! The risotto nero is also a great dish! The atmosphere is amazing, and their staff is so happy to serve you, and they really value you as a customer. Pricing is very affordable. I fell in love with Ortigia for its beauty but also for the food from Montecarlo! Grazie Mille! I will come back soon!

Scoperto per sbaglio, questo locale, è diventato una mia meta sicura in cui viziarmi, tra i migliori (ne giro parecchi) Gentile l'accoglienza.. Premetto che ho un debole per i crudi.. qui si nota freschezza e alta qualità. Ottimo il misto di antipasti. Per primi e secondi chiedete consiglio a Riccardo o Carlo che sanno consigliarvi in base ai vostri gusti. Buona carta dei vini. E per il fine pasto.. hanno anche selezioni per i palati più fini.

Discovered by mistake, this place has become a safe destination for me to spoil myself, among the best (I visit many). The welcome is kind. Let me start by saying that I have a weakness for raw food. Here you can see freshness and high quality. Excellent mix of starters. For first and second courses, ask Riccardo or Carlo for advice who can advise you based on your tastes. Good wine list. And for the end of the meal... they also have selections for the most refined palates.

Esperienza meravigliosa, dall’accoglienza ai piatti. Linguine alle cozze e gamberi dove si sentiva davvero il mare, spaghetti carbonara equilibrata di sapore; ma la vera chicca erano le bruschette: uno spettacolo culinario.
