we visited last and this year and we were never disappointed, the pizzas r delicious, the only thing is that the restaurant gets very crowded around lunch, but next year ill definitely visit again

A great place to chill out after a whole day of skiing in Arabba and Belvedere. Perfect sun loungers with million-dollar views. You can also sip a cold beer, unfortunately for 7 euros a glass. Well, the price increases with height

In my opinion it is 10 steps above many other refuges, not to mention among the best. Well-educated, cheerful and polite staff, fast and very efficient service. Excellent dishes, normal prices and very welcoming owners. I also recommend it for the typicality of the location.

One of our favorite stops for lunch in this dream space in Gran Sasso. We have been coming for two years. And two years each time, our stop at Refugio Fodom is a total pleasure. The place is magnificent, whether it's sunny on the terrace... Or whether it's snowing while sitting inside. Impeccable and fast service. Impeccable choice and quality of dishes. All in an Italian-style “lunch stop on the tracks” atmosphere. I don't understand how some people dare to give less than 4 stars. We love it. An altima Felicita

13/02/2024: Nice quiet and strategic location to reach Comelico and the Visdende valley, and very courteous and helpful staff. Unfortunately, however, in my opinion it may be fine for couples but not for families, especially large ones. The room we were given was too small for 5 beds all on the floor, one of which was a foldable camp bed with a slightly dated base. A bunk bed would have been enough and we would have avoided many blows to the shins, furthermore the bed was too close to the only wardrobe and made it difficult to open it and get things inside. The breakfast was good, but the dinner was a little less so, where I had never found myself charged even for tap water...

01/04/2024: The refuge stands out not only for its beauty, but also for its spacious terraces which invite you to enjoy your meal outdoors, surrounded by nature. The interior, welcoming and well organised, offers plenty of seating, ideal for those who prefer the warm atmosphere of the mountains. The welcome of the staff really makes the difference: always smiling and friendly, even in moments of great influx, they demonstrate a heartfelt hospitality that makes the experience even more pleasant. Speaking of food, here I found the best goulash I've ever tasted, and believe me, it's not the first I've tried. The tiramisu also deserves a special mention: creamy, balanced and absolutely worth trying. Both dishes are testimony to the refuge's culinary excellence. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered, and the location adds invaluable value to the overall experience. The breathtaking view and unique atmosphere make every visit unforgettable. In short, if you are looking for a place where good food and the beauty of nature meet, this refuge is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!
22/03/2024: Beautiful, very suggestive place with a large outdoor terrace. Very friendly and super helpful staff. The different types of grappa are highly appreciated. Super recommended!
