Their food doesn't Never disappoints, Amatriciana peposo and mouth-watering tongue. Familiar and comfortable environment and service, it's always a treat to go there. Reasonable prices and top quality!

Sicuramente è un posto da provare se si vuole assaggiare piatti tipici della zona…tutto molto spartano ma pulito ed ordinato con staff gentile. Astenersi se si cerca cose raffinate si mangia bene piatti “poveri” toscani come trippa e lampredotto

Ho cenato molte volte al Ritrovino, rimanendo sempre molto soddisfatto. Il locale è molto noto a tutti gli empolesi, permette infatti di gustarsi un ottimo Lampredotto senza dover per forza raggiungere Firenze. Nel corso degli anni ha ampliato il suo menu con piatti tipici toscani tutti davvero ottimi. Non ci sono molti posti a sedere all'interno per cui occorre prenotare in anticipo se non si vuole consumare il pasto o la cena sui tavoli dell'area verde antistante. Se apprezzate la cucina toscana è sicuramente il locale che fa per voi.

05/04/2024: We decided to spend Easter Monday here and the decision was definitely the right one. The place is very nice, it is in the countryside about 30 minutes from Florence. Arm yourself with patience as the road leading to the restaurant is narrow and the car park is small, so on busy days you will be forced to park on the side of the road. Despite this, everything else was perfect. The place is nice and is in an old country house that is well kept and tastefully furnished. The food is delicious, from cold cuts to meat, without forgetting the fish (yes, the pasta with scampi was delicious! ). The staff is very kind and is always ready and available. It is also possible to buy wine and typical ceramics. If you decide to go on weekends or during holidays, I recommend you book.
29/03/2024: Typical Tuscan cuisine for 10. Well done everyone, truthful and genuine locals, I will definitely be back.
