Everything was very good and the waiter, Michele, gave us impeccable service in French! Very good value for money, we highly recommend (reservation essential)

Very good typical food in an original Sardinian atmosphere. 2 people with starter and main course plus water and wine, 100 euros.

Seen from the outside it doesn't make you want to enter, but when you are inside you immediately find a welcoming environment. The food is excellent and the raw materials fantastic. The service is welcoming and informal and you can count on Michele for advice on dishes and wines. There is a good choice of quality wines, but if you want you can also just have the house wine. I personally took a Vermentino Superiore from Gallura. We will definitely be back.

Every time we go we have a great time. The dishes are perfect, well balanced and perfectly cooked, it is truly a pleasure to eat them. The service was impeccable, waiters were polite, present but not intrusive, very attentive and quick despite the full room and the type of service which was quite detailed. The environment is relaxing, as well as being a nice, well-kept and particular place, and the low-pitched background music allows you to converse without shouting. I can't even find a flaw.

La piola is the typical Cagliari restaurant. A place with a suggestive atmosphere but above all a lot of substance and goodness in traditional dishes from both sea and land. Bonus for desserts prepared rigorously in the kitchen. A touch of magic from times gone by is the coffee prepared with the moka and served in enamel iron cups. Well done. Average prices, which by now in 2024 tend to be around 40 euros per person for a meal not of all courses (e.g. starter, first course, side dish, dessert, water, glass of wine and coffee), but with certainly generous portions and very well taken care of in the presentation. In any case with a good quality/price ratio for the bill paid. We always enjoy coming back. And I take the liberty of always pointing this out to my non-Sardinian friends who pass through Cagliari. PS not very accessible for disabled people due to the high step at the entrance and because it is located on a small uphill road.

Truly authentic restaurant, with a rustic restaurant, local and refined cuisine, absolutely non-touristy. The only less positive note concerns the prices, a little higher than average but it must be said that you will certainly leave there satisfied. A pearl.

Tornato pochi mesi dalla prima favorevole esperienza. Si è confermato un ristorante di livello. Location molto carina, personale disponibile gentile e competente, cibo di qualità. Ottima la fregola con cozze e arselle, il fritto misto il filetto di spigola e le lorighittas. Esperienza da ripetere

Elegante, accogliente, di qualità: mi vengono in mente questi tre termini per definire Sa Piola, nel centro di Cagliari. Tonno superbo, ma tutti gli antipasti misti che hanno portato, tra carne e pesce, erano ottimi, come anche la fregola. Selezione dei vini consigliati dal maitre davvero top. Forse, avendo preso due portate a testnte,ra, mi aspettavo sinceramente qualcosina di meno sul conto, per questo non metto il massimo.
