As soon as I arrived in Messina I found this place near the Duomo to get something takeaway to eat in my room. A few bottles of water, a hot dog with sausage and mayonnaise and a salad with lettuce, tomato, olives and mini morsels, I had also asked for corn and tuna but in the end they did it their way. But I appreciate the availability even though it was around 3.30pm and therefore outside lunch time, I still had to wait about half an hour for preparation. The highest price (€9) I can't understand if it's the salad or the hot dog, it still seems disproportionate to me!

10/11/2023: We popped in here for a snack as we wanted to try the local acricini. We ordered 1 each as they were huge and some fries, everything was delicious though. The menu was all in Italian and many people couldn't understand it and walked away, we had to use Google translate but we heard the staff complaining about why the menu is not in English as they were loosing too many customers. The prices are a bit expensive for what we got and the service wasn't great and the toilets were filthy. Not really worth the price and wouldn't recommend.

26/03/2024: Well I don’t know what everyone is complaining about on here. We stopped a few times for Campari Spritz which not only were they delicious, but half the price of anywhere else in Taormina. We got takeaway arancini which were delicious. We returned to have a late lunch here on our last day and everything we ordered was very nice. The tourist menus were good value for money and much cheaper than any restaurant we walked by during our stay. Thankyou!
