Great restaurant right by the sea port! Delicious cuisine and the freshest seafood being served out by talented chef Rosa Maria Balistreri paired perfectly with wines and service by co-host/husband/owner Sebastiano. Cozy interiors but if the weather is nice they have a great al fresco outdoor dining option. I had Siclian oysters for the first time in my life and they were crazy good. For my primi, I ordered one of their specialty dishes - the pasta with pistaccio, pachino tomatoes and gambero rosso. WOW. Along with a great bottle of some local red wine (Frappato) plus the overall help, service and warmth of the owners - I had a fantastic evening and dinner at Scaru Porticello. Highly recommend going here!

The quality of the fish is indisputable, well cooked, chef Rosamaria has her finger on the pulse of the situation. The quality of the scampi is exceptional.. Excellent cellar..Sebastiano knows how to advise you competently on the choice of wines to pair with the dishes.Refined, very good dishes that correctly require the right preparation time, precisely because nothing is frozen or pre-cooked Keep it up guys.. well done.. The restaurant is recommended...elegant and sincere environment..

We were 4 together and wanted something good for lunch. We got different food, but the fish was fresh, the food tasted great and the service was very good. We all liked the atmosphere and definatly we will be back.

Pesce di ottima qualità. Oste/padronedi casa conosce benissimo il cibo e te lo racconta come chi conosce il mare sa... Purtroppo fa Freddo nonostante I riscaldamenti.
