I'm so pleased we entered this place! Everything was very fresh and delicious. Local pekaru and confectioner's cakes are made locally. We visit Sicily and the surrounding area many times, so I think this is one of the best instead. The staff are kind and devoted and obviously love what they do! The prices are below average in the area. We will return if possible!

I am originally from Sicily (SR) and travel back very often from the USA to visit. I’ve had arancini in many local towns over the last 30 years where they are claimed to be “the best” by their local residents (and they are for the town, for sure). This little hidden treasure, though, takes the prize for the best arancini I’ve had in all my travels in all my years. I don’t usually write a review, but when a place deserves one, like Sfizi, it’s a must!! This was our first time at Sfizi, and we kept coming back every day for breakfast and/or lunch!!! Their breakfast “brioche e granita” was also the best I’ve had in Sicily. EVER. If you are traveling to the Siracusa province, head to Sfizi for breakfast or lunch and I promise you it will be worth your trip.

Excellent fresh pastry and coffee, nicely decorated cappuccino. Friendly service. Free street parking. Prefect for a local breakfast. Recommended! 👍

31/10/2023: SUITABLE FOR VEGETARIANS AND MEAT LOVERS. Nice place and friendly and polite staff. The menu offers various meat dishes and various alternatives also for vegetarians. Very appreciated. Dishes presented with care and excellent quality of raw materials. Good value for money. Advised. Everything has also been reconfirmed for 2021, which we were there in June. Well done, keep it up.

Trattoria Al Buco

19/03/2024: We were recommended this restaurant by our hosts and went on a Monday evening. The reception we got was friendly and were sat straight away. The restaurant was quiet but got busier as the evening progressed. The menu was traditional sicilian food. We ordered the ravioli and tagliatelle followed by the sausage and potatoes and a salad. Very nice food, well made pasta and wine selection was decent. It was also very fairly priced. We would recommend.
15/03/2024: We had a delicious lunch today at Trattoria Al Buca. Both our pastas were excellent - the tagliatelle pesto and pasta with eggplant - and the insalates were fresh and tasty. Our wait staff were delightful. All very reasonable!
