A beautiful, very interesting visit

For an entrance fee of €7 you get a wonderful panoramic view of Portoferrario. When visiting, you walk down several steps of the castle, from which you can always look down on the city. From a small café at the top to a small museum with lots of documents about the creation of the castle and the Medicci, there is something for everyone; The lady at the ticket counter was very accommodating and open-minded. A must for every visitor to Elba!

Wonderful vistas, a bit of a hike though because of the elevation. Very reasonable discounted entry fee for seniors.

Merita una visita,servono più indicazioni

Ottimo punto panoramico, vista a 360 gradi sul golfo di Portoferraio, è possibile entrare dalla sommità e poi uscire nella parte bassa attraverso un bel percorso che fa comprendere a pieno tutto il sistema difensivo del forte. Merita una visita durata 40-60 minuti.

Posto che merita di essere visitato, il panorama è molto bello
