Good cioppo, Genoese pasta that is embarrassing to say the least, pre-cooked, hard and dry. Overcooked and charred onion, meat skin on the plate. The friendly waiter. The pasta was returned to me at the checkout and I thank you. Review what didn't go well considering it is one of the musts in Naples.

Welcoming environment, plentiful and tasty food, especially the mozzarella stuffed with broccoli and the meatballs with meat sauce. The service was excellent and efficient with young and well-trained guys. I recommend you try this fantastic restaurant.

We were told to visit this restaurant from our hotel staff as they offer fresh traditional pasta varieties on their menu. So we went at a weekday very late in the evening in order to find a quiet atmosphere. The restaurant is located in the heart on Naples, literally around so many other restaurants, bars, shops and touristic attractions. Staff were kind enough to allow us in as kitchen was closing in 30 minutes and they surely had a long busy day. The restaurant seemed to be very clean and staff spoke fluent English. One employee was kind enough to go through the menu and explain to us their dishes. For a starter, we decided to order the parmigiana salad which was truly delicious. Then for a main course, we opted for a manfredi ragu with ricotta and a rigatoni alla genovese. Both plates turned out to be very filling and delicious as expected. Their prices are considerably cheap compared to their portions and quality of the food. The only tiny negative part was that we ordered a local red wine carafe and they forgot to bring it to us which we fully understood. I would definitely recommend others to try this place out while touring around in Naples for a mouthwatering food experience. Thank you :)

Really exceptional restaurant in Naples. Food is local, mainly pasta, in a remarkable quality. I suggest to take the Bruchetta with the four different toppings first, to find out which saurce is best for your pasta. This was recommended to me from the excellent staff and I benefited from that. A must for every visitor!

Do you have a friend on holiday in Naples and you don't bring him to Tandem? Aaaaaaah! Impossible! It is obligatory to stop at the Tandem Restaurant to taste ragú, Genoese, meatballs and lasagne. A great figure. Excellent quality, friendly, discreet staff, knowledgeable of various languages. Are you on a diet? Forget the diet to go to Tandem. Dipping bread in the sauce that remains on the plate is sacred. Only flaw? The chairs in the internal room. They should be renovated with new upholstery, perhaps fabric or changed. It must be said. Very clean bathrooms and environments.

Food was fantastic. Hubby had lasagna and I had pork in Ragu sauce. Very friendly staff though I wish they would just let you eat without hovering around. Also had the tiramisu was delicious and hubby had croccante amarena. Said delish but to many nuts. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Esperienza appagante. A due passi da piazza del Gesù il locale si presenta senza fronzoli,ma è accogliente. Servizio eccellente: giovanissimi,estremamente professionali,gentili e simpatici. Bravissimi! Due visite a distanza di tre giorni,prima a cena e poi a pranzo, mi hanno reso felice. Scialatielli con ragù e ricotta e gnocchi ragù e provola fantastici! Cuzzitiello strepitoso. Cosi pure le polpette e la mozzarella ripiena. Pane croccante e buonissimo e piatti abbondanti e pienissimi di ragù. Fantastico!

Non ero mai stato in nessuno dei ristoranti "tandem" presenti a Napoli così trovandomi nei dintorni ho deciso per una sosta golosa visto che trattasi di un brand che riproduce i tipici piatti della tradizione napoletana. Avevo ordinato dei paccheri al ragù, ma poi il cameriere (molto gentile) mi ha dirottato sugli ziti in quanto, a suo dire, avrei dovuto aspettare più tempo per la cottura. Dopo neanche 4 minuti arrivano a tempo di record gli ziti al ragù, il che la cosa mi lascia molto perplesso e mi fà inevitabilmente capire che siamo di fronte alla tipica catena di montaggio dove tutto (lo capisco solo per il ragù visto i tempi richiesti) è già precotto come nelle mense scolastiche. Niente da dire sulla salsa al ragù davvero saporita e ben equilibrata sia nella quantità di carne che nel dosaggio di sale. Stendo un velo pietoso per la pasta davvero immangiabile arrivata stracotta e molle (ho mangiato giusto per fame). Capisco che i turisti stranieri (che non hanno una adeguata cultura sui tempi di cottura della pasta) prediligono mangiarla molto cotta, ma siamo a Napoli e non altrove per cui bisognerebbe presentare i propri "cavalli di battaglia" in maniera decorosa e soprattutto nel rispetto delle proprie tradizioni, magari anche assaggiando prima ciò che si sta per andare a servire. A Tokyo non si sognerebbero di servire il sushi cotto!!! Il mio voto si limita a tre stelle giusto perchè il ragù era buono altrimenti per me il giudizio sarebbe stato sotto zero. Vi invito ad assaggiare la cottura della pasta prima di servirla.
