buonissimo e alla mano. niente fronzoli, ma tanta sostanza. si mangia il menu della tradizione, poche cose ma fresche e succulente (fanno pure i dolci). ci sono stato diverse volte in una settimana d'ottobre, e ho mangiato amatriciana, carbonara, polpettone, arrosto misto, agnello impanato con osso annesso con cui impugnarlo, da sgranocchiare.. patate e cicoria (ripassata piccante e in agro al limone), crème caramel e bignè (nelle foto, alcune delle pietanze). Non c'era una cosa che non fosse squisito. E i prezzi onestissimi.. dai 12 ai 20€ a persona, nelle occasioni in cui abbiamo mangiato a scatafascio. Andateci che vale davvero.

Inexpensive but competes with the big boys. We first visited this restaurant 12 years ago. We’re elated to know it survives covid, etc and is better than ever. Home made pasta. The minestrone soup was fantastic.

06/04/2024: What can I say, a surprise...the Fraschetta la Romanella in Ostia Lido, my friends and I took the Roman-style appetizer, it was for two but since it was plentiful, another person also enjoyed the Roman-style pinsa chips in various flavors and then the pinsa gem with Nutella. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff... I highly recommend
04/04/2024: Simply unique, I have come from Spain to try Romanella's cuisine and it is something that I cannot explain. You have to try this restaurant. I give it a 10 and the owner Sandro is a unique person.
