Trattoria Al Gran Sasso In Roma

We looked at the menu outside and was immediately drawn in but they were full. They told us to wait to see if a reservation doesn’t show and he will let us in, so we waited and while we did, they gave my husband and I a glass of champagne. It was completely unexpected but super appreciated! Eventually, we did get a table and we were so grateful. Our waiter was fantastic and helped us select a perfect wine. Our meals were incredible. We got the burrata ravioli, truffle gnocchi and crème brûlée. The tomatoes literally burst with deliciousness when you put your fork in them. (I don’t even like tomatoes much but this was another level) Also, we found out that the table next to us was a table of men that come everyday… yes, everyday. That says it all 😂

A very good time spent. Delicious food, and affordable prices. The service was pleasant, and the menu translated. We recommend.

Very, very good food and very courteous service

The food was very good quality, it had been a long time since I had eaten a duck so well cooked, the waiter was very friendly, the wine was better, we ordered two starters carpaccio and salad, and then a plate of duck xom bolets and pasta carbonata, we paid 60 € we will repeat without a doubt, typical Italian trattoria has been open since 1965 🤤🤤🤤

Fantastic place! One of the best dinners I had in Rome! The gnocchi with tartufo nero were excellent and the saltimbocca definitely worth a try! The tiramisu was the perfect ending and great wine recommendation from the water too! Would definitely come back!

The carbonara and cacio e pepe are delicious, as are the pancakes. Small trattoria with a quiet and welcoming environment, highly recommended if you want to taste typical Roman dishes.

Chiuso il ristorante accanto, mi sono trovato a leggere un menù accattivante e mi sono seduto per provare qualcosa. Ho trovato un bravo titolare, personale educato e rapido, locale pulito, tavoli distanziati il giusto, una bella atmosfera. Ho provato il pollo alla romana e le puntarelle con le alici: non so se l'abbonamento funziona ma mi sono nutrito e divertito. E non potevo chiudere con un dolce e quindi ho preso un carciofo fritto: ottimo direi! Caffè e acqua. Conto corretto. Buona esperienza che raccomando. Ci torno alla prima prossima occasione.
