Nice restaurant, however the food was average. The bisteca Fiorentina was a marvelous piece of meat (Chianina), however it wasn't well cooked or seasoned. By well I don't mean temperature, we asked for it bloody, as recommended by the chef. We also had grilled chicken with rosemary potatoes which was not tasty. The taglatelle ai funghi porcini were soupy and the mushrooms were slimy in texture.

Restaurant discovered during a visit to San Gimignano for lunch with friends. Nice place, great food, honest price and super friendly staff! Advised!

Amazing food, tasty and didn't cost much. Ate grilled lamb and potatoes, then apple pie, I have never eaten so good!! I would return to San Gimignano just for that lamb.

Ristorante Trattoria offers tasty Pici all'Aglione is an absolute delight and the lamb steak succulent ,and diversed selection of wines , Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic Italian cuisine.service is bland 😒

Amazing food and wine experience. Excellent first course, 1.3kg T-bone Florentine meat cooked rare that melted in the mouth. Wine, a truly exceptional 2016 Chianti. I think the sweet tiramisu was truly the best I've ever eaten. Really recommended. Super staff

We stumbled upon lunch by chance during a walk and were welcomed very well (despite the late hour) and served very kindly. The food is good and the choice of wines is also nice, mostly (rightly) from the area. The place is fascinating, with old tools that recall the origins of the place as a butcher's shop.

Friday 29 December. We decided to take a tour of San Gimignano, where to go for lunch?... evaluating various restaurants I opted for this one: Exceptional Choice, Highly Recommended, Very Friendly and Professional Owners, Exceptional Dishes with Quality Products and Served piping hot. Nice place. We will definitely be back.

這間餐廳真的太適合午餐造訪！十月中旬造訪，抓準歐洲人還沒開始覓食的正午12點，順利 walk in，再晚一點可能就沒那麼幸運了。 與我在 Pienza 偶然吃到的餐館並列最令人感動的牛肝菌麵！ 以店名來看的話，macelleria 表示這應該是以前的屠宰場或肉舖。而店內的老照片以及工業風（？）保留下來的吊肉的掛鉤、軌道，變成店內的一部分或是牆上的衣架勾。 以下介紹我們當天點的餐點： Bruschette Miste 綜合口味義式香烤麵包 作為前菜的 bruschette miste 總共有四片，不同口味的炭烤的麵包切片擺盤十分漂亮！ 四種口味分別是：鮮番茄、牛肝菌、朝鮮薊醬與橄欖醬。都非常好吃！ 烤蔬菜中規中矩 Caserecci alle Verdure 蔬菜自製通心麵 Caserecci 是一種捲捲的藤狀義大利麵 這道用橄欖油清炒的義大利麵很清爽，適合覺得很久沒吃到蔬菜的亞洲胃，可以吃到番茄的鮮甜。 Pappardelle con Ragù di Cinghiale 野豬肉醬特寬麵 這道我們一致認為麵體超特別！難怪店家特別在 primi 的頁面標註：所有的義大利麵都是手工製作！ 非常寬的 pappardelle 據說字根 papparsi在托斯卡尼方言裡，指的是「狼吞虎嚥」、「吃太飽」。很寬的麵體讓他非常適合野味與濃厚油脂的醬汁，許多醬汁都在麵的折疊處，讓整盤麵很滑順濃郁。搭配野豬肉醬也算是托斯卡尼當地的一道名菜。 Tagliatelle ai Funghi Porcini 牛肝菌扁麵 滋味濃郁又滑順到似乎有勾芡，很大塊的牛肝菌菇，也很飽足的份量。不用多說，我的首選😍 Tagliatelle del Macello 屠宰場（肉舖）特製扁麵 這是同時能享受到牛豬肉醬與牛肝菌的一道麵！不會膩！不過牛肝菌比較沒那麼多，而且味道會比較不明顯，有點被肉醬蓋過去。如果特別喜歡牛肝菌的滋味可能會更推薦原味。

Trattoria nel cuore di San Gimignano che propone piatti della tradizione Toscana associati ai vini locali Vernaccia e Chianti. Pici ottimi e fiorentina superlativa, contorni abbondanti con patate al forno e verdure grigliate. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo! Consigliato!
