Hospitable without being intrusive, they cook excellent traditional Tuscan dishes. All tasty, but not heavy. Honest prices, welcoming place and no parking problems.

Typical Italian trattoria! Quality dishes and incredibly friendly service. The pasta with beef ragout was very good! I recommend it if you are passing through.

definitely one of the best italian places i have ever eaten at! quaint, traditional, friendly, welcoming and immensely delicious! the service (ali) was super accommodating and helpful and lovely. i would go every day if i could. prices are ridiculously decent for the quality you get. definitely recommend!! thanks for the amazing food and wine and hospitality.

Subito fuori le mura abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare in questa trattoria veramente ottima ! Cibo casalingo , vino rosso della casa davvero super , personale cordiale , giusto rapporto qualità prezzo! Posto assolutamente consigliato ! La prossima volta a Volterra sapremo dove andare ! Abbiamo apprezzato molto gli antipasti di salumi e crostini , così come il cinghiale e i ravioloni al gorgonzola! Una bontà!

Buona trattoria, con piatti tipici toscani sullo sfondo della bellissima Volterra. Ottima la trippa, alla quale abbiamo dedicato la cena in questa occasione. Prezzi accettabili.

28/03/2024: Incredible! A highly recommended place, the wines and truffle dishes are spectacular, for dessert we recommend the homemade cheesecake, very good!
25/03/2024: Wow! Authentic Italian Osteria with the most incredible homely food. Not many seats so I recommend reserving or trying your luck as a walk in. Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff & owners & truly a gem!! I was enjoying myself so much I forgot to take pictures!

La Taverna dell'Ozio

25/03/2024: Excellent regional cuisine, very good truffle which enhances many dishes. Inside, the arrangement of the tables would need to be seriously reviewed, which is the reason for the rating for the atmosphere. Friendly service but a little slow, it takes 3-4 hours for 3 courses plus dessert for a table of 6 people. Which could correspond to the Sunday meal. This comment reflects my personal impressions.
17/03/2024: It's always a pleasure to dine at the taverna dell.ozio, very kind waitresses! Excellent service, excellent food! I recommend booking! It's always full!
