Food was incredible. Tons of local dishes and everything we had was done perfectly. Staff was great and very helpful. You HAVE to get a reservation. We went on a Saturday with a reservation so maybe it’s easier during the week but there was a line of probably 30+ people at the door at opening and all of the walk-ins for the night filled up in minutes.

A trattoria in the historic center of Bologna where the waiters do not make you feel like a customer but an honored guest. The place is a little dated but very clean and welcoming. Personally I enjoyed "from the broth into the broth"...what can I say...an exaltation of aromas and flavours. Highly recommended. The tasting of raw and fried mushrooms was also exaggerated. A culinary stop not to be missed for anyone nearby.

I have been a frequent visitor for several years, even before they showed up on the Borghese program, and I must say that even if the cuisine has remained very good, the service and customer care have suffered greatly. It's fine to do two shifts to make the most of every evening, but Emilian cuisine is about calm, more than a dinner it felt like I was in a race against time, I didn't have time to give the last spoonful of tortellini I had with the schnitzel already in front of me, I had to gulp down the remaining wine and drink the coffee with the waiter buzzing around the table. And we arrived on time leaving the restaurant even 10 minutes before the shift change. I would point out that the service was still friendly but automated, it almost felt like the waiters were reading a script. True Emilian cuisine doesn't go well with haste, that's why fast food exists.

The food, the place and the service make this place EXCELLENT. We had 4 people for dinner, the food is exquisite, the staff's attention is unbeatable, they are attentive to you at all times and make your experience as pleasant as possible. I definitely recommend this place to eat/dine in Bologna. You can book online, a plus for those of us who visit the city.

Fantastica esperienza in questa trattoria: abbiamo prenotato circa un mese prima (ed abbiamo fatto bene perché c’era la coda in apertura alle 7.30), ci hanno accolto con bimba e cane (hanno i seggioloni ma a noi non serviva). Appena seduti sono passati ad illustrare le specialità del menù, tutto in modo molto simpatico e rispettoso. Abbiamo provato il gelato al formaggio: pazzesco, il gusto era esattamente quello dello squaqquerone o del gorgonzola, ma la consistenza era quella del gelato. Suggerivano di accompagnarlo con una sorta di gnocco fritto, ma non ce la siamo sentita. Come secondo antipasto abbiamo preso dei funghi frutti ottimi, accompagnati da una salsina che ne esaltava il sapore. Poi classici tortellini in brodo: tortellini piccoli e con la pasta un po’ spessa ed un brodo di pollo leggerissimo e veramente gustoso. Come secondo ho preso il guanciale e, qui si, mi sono fatto convincere ad accompagnarlo con la purea: divina. Il guanciale si scioglieva tanto era tenero e saporito e la purea ti riempiva la bocca di bontà. Non potevamo non prendere un dolce: panna cotta, leggera e gustosissima, e zuppa inglese, senza alcool e di una delicatezza incredibile. Abbiamo preso die calici di bianco fermo, valido. Incredibile esperienza a Bologna. Veramente bravi e simpatici. Servizio rapido. Spesa totale 109 euro. Abbiamo digerito 😊 Straconsigliato!!!
