This restaurant was our favorite when we worked in the area a few years ago, because it is a nice, simple, and cheap place. In June 2022 we returned to Rome after many years and went to Da Sergio. The environment and service were as before, but we notice that the prices have gone up: €12 for a pasta. Ok, that's after the pandemic and all. But unfortunately the food was not as I remembered: the gricia and carbonara were extremely greasy, and the gricia had onion which was a bit surprising. Instead of bacon, they used some other type of meat. Now I wonder if time has made our memories gold. However, I think that with €12 you can eat better (at least these dishes) in other places in the area which now all cost the same.

I loved this site. It is a hidden gem in the Roman center that moves away from the typical restaurant to take advantage of tourists. The food is very good, very well made, a very authentic atmosphere and staff that treat you great.

06/04/2024: Excellent trattoria, impeccable service and handmade fettuccine that are a delight for the eyes and the palate. Try the tiramisu in its variations
24/03/2024: The place is small and furnished in a somewhat confusing way, but it gives off a feeling of familiarity, thanks also to its owner, who makes the meal pleasant. The quality of what is offered is good, but obviously the fettuccine is worth trying which, combined with traditional Roman sauces, is the star of the place. Prices are fair.

03/04/2024: I have been going to the Don Bosco village for years and I went yesterday for the first time with my family to eat there, everything was very good thanks to the boy who served us who was very nice
02/04/2024: Excellent restaurant!!! I was with my three children, we left joyful. Excellent cuisine, top grill and impeccable service, a really good team. A day to remember which ended with a visit to the beautiful Villa Gregoriana. Fabio
