Excellent simple, sincere home cooking. Typical Bolognese cuisine, menu that changes often based on seasonality, guarantee of always fresh products. Fast attentive service. Environment needs updating some details but if good food is what you are looking for this is the right place. Fair price

The food was really excellent to my taste. After eating the first and second sweet coffee I got up from the table and didn't feel heavy at all. The service is fast, young and dynamic. The environment is certainly familiar

The menu is of a good standard, the service is hasty but the availability and friendliness compensate for some flaws, the location is a bit chaotic. Even if the cut is excellent, if you cook two eggs in the oil you will be done. Fair price.

Everything was exceptional, super good and of high quality....Really welcoming staff, the dishes were hot and quick... excellent value for money!!! (We are from the south) we will definitely be back soon!!

Excellent first courses and meats (they especially offer you the excellent cut but very oiled), and perhaps the best desserts in all of Bologna, truly superior. a little rustic but nice atmosphere, but tables really too crowded. In any case, we will definitely return

Ogni volta che usciamo dal locale ci diciamo che è l'ultima Non è più il "Gallo" di una volta I piatti non sembrano fatti con la vecchia passione. Peccato. È comunque una mia impressione

Trattoria lungo la strada a Castelmaggiore. Interno caratteristico. Personale gentile, servizio veloce. Molto buona la loro tagliata e il contorno di zucchine. Prezzi un po’ alti.

Merita soprattutto per la tagliata, veramente eccezionale. Anche i dolci fatti in casa non sono da meno! 40€ a testa per primo più tagliata e dolce

04/04/2024: I ate in this restaurant for the first time and it was all delicious, homemade pasta made by them and I highly recommend it, we took 2 different types of cappellacci and they were exceptional. Then I had the Crescentino with cured meats, fresh cheese and pickles of their own production, all super. The owners are very kind, we loved the place because it was clean, warm and with 70s furnishings that take you back to the good old days. The only flaw is that they tell you the menu orally, and therefore ultimately difficult to keep in mind. Very fair price for the generous portions and the quality. Too bad it's 300 km from where I live, otherwise I would have come back to eat there at least twice a month.

06/04/2024: For those who like a small family and non-commercial restaurant, for me it's the best, excellent quality typical Bolognese food, nice and friendly staff, very honest prices and I really like the old school location, it's like going back in time, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
30/03/2024: I was traveling for work in Bologna and luckily I had this trattoria under my house. Very good tagliatelle and lasagna and very friendly and always smiling staff. Recommended.
