Renowned place in the 70s, especially Bolognese cuisine. We tried it with friends from outside Bologna. Good dishes and service a little rushed but good. Prices normal.

I went to dinner for a friend's birthday. traditional Bolognese cuisine in a simple environment. the menu is varied.. generous portions.. quick service.. courteous staff.. honest prices.. in short, good quality/price ratio. great discovery!

Dinner with 2 colleagues; if you're by car and you're lucky you'll find a place in front of the entrance otherwise you'll have to wander around the car park for a while...but the effort is rewarded by tagliatelle with meat sauce and a good Bolognese cutlet (all 3 of us ate the same dishes) Some fried potatoes (good and not greasy... 1 alone in 3) and a few glasses of San Giovese in a carafe. Bread, breadsticks, water and 3 bitters...€29 each...honest! To try !

02/02/2024: The only restaurant in Monzuno, in the centre, convenient for the people of Bologna for an escape/walk to the highest mountain near Bologna, Monte Venere. The rooms are also comfortable for weekends on the Via degli dei. Excellent service. Basic but decent menu. Family atmosphere, relaxing and caring. Like eating at grandma's.

Antica Osteria Del Mirasole

31/03/2024: Excellent traditional cuisine, high quality raw materials. Second time I go, with increased prices after a year, on an already quite high basis. Certainly, boasting the large quantity of prizes and recognitions, they have been able to afford fine dining restaurant prices, thanks also to tourists who don't bat an eyelid when paying 30 euros for a plate of tortellini with cream on the surface. But in fact it is not a fine dining restaurant. The Bolognese cutlet in the photo, for two people, good (but not exceptional) costs 70 euros. I asked myself what a tavern should be, and I will continue to ask myself, but I don't think they are the answer, and I say this with the utmost respect. Good but not for me.
26/03/2024: It was a wonderful experience having lunch in this tavern. In a warm and welcoming environment we tasted delicious dishes, from tortellini with cream to the surface, meatballs and potatoes dipped in lard.
