We ate well and drank better, typical Tuscan/Umbrian cuisine perhaps, the black truffle was really good, the meat melted in your mouth! Friendly waiter, rustic and warm location! Advised

Che dire, locale caratteristico in pietra, personale gentile ed efficiente, cibo ottimo dall'antipasto al dolce, io e mio marito abbiamo mangiato una tagliata al rosmarino e pepe verde straordinaria, primo eccellente pici all'aglione con zucchine e guanciale croccante e poi anche l'antipasto buoni i salumi e tutto il resto. Insomma un locale assolutamente da provare. Bravi e complimenti a tutti!

Excellent meals, and friendly service. Gets real busy at dinner time during the tourist season, even in end-September, so booking a table in advance is necessary.

Elegante trattoria in centro a Cortona, dove poter mangiare le tipiche specialità del posto. Servizio molto cortese e buonissimi i piatti con il tartufo. Buono anche il vino. Prezzi in linea con quanto offerto.

Ottima trattoria in pieno centro della città di Cortona. Piatti ottimi della tradizione toscana e dell'aretino. Da provare assolutamente.

09/03/2024: Experience for a good lunch with friends. They welcomed us with great professionalism. Beautiful room seems to be in the Middle Ages. I don't recommend appetizers (they prepare them in the morning, chewy crostini). Go straight to the very good starters. The sauces are digestible. Second course consisting of mixed grilled poultry, not very good, a little stringy. Honestly, I expected better for the food. Polite and friendly wait staff. Good price considering that we spent €40 each (there were 5 of us) and ate and drank two bottles of house wine. Too bad they didn't even offer us a bitter. I think I won't go back. But it wasn't a bad experience.
