07/04/2024: Nice and hospitable place. Very kind staff. Excellent cuisine and generous portions. A pleasant surprise for those coming from outside.

27/03/2024: The Socio Trattoria evidently takes the suffix "Socio" from its origins as a Mutual Aid Workers' Society... Even its location, at the end of Corso Unione Sviluppo, in a small village (Borgaretto) of low houses not far from the Fiat factories recalls the "Bolshevik" origins... The restaurant is large, bright and clean and has a courtyard where there is a summer terrace and parking. Menu at 12 euros, a quarter of wine included (Cortese and Dolcetto Vinchio Vaglio, always excellent) did not disappoint in terms of food quality and careful preparation, as did the service... In the end, with 20 euros each we also had dessert, coffee and digestive... What more could you want from life on a rainy early spring day?
