Vento di Sardegna In Milano

This one is Italian seafood par excellence. If you like an authentic kitchen - this is the place to be. We came here around 6 and this place was literally empty. We were greeted by the waiters who lined up on the staircase. As we were their first guests that evening, service was prompt and friendly. Some of the waiters boast a well rehearsed level of English. As the evening moved on, the restaurant quickly filled up with well dressed best agers. The crowd itself is Italian only so don't expect any international cuisine or a washed out fashion kitchen. This is a local as it gets. So if you are ready to dive into an evening of Italian kitchen pure and unaltered this is the place.

Excellent fish restaurant in the center of Milan. Correct quality/price ratio. Elegant atmosphere and quality fish cuisine. Wine list up to par, Impeccable service. Advised.

Today it is the city center. A little hidden also due to the subway works. Courtesy and friendliness. Well attended. The cuisine is good. Good experience. Definitely coming back.

Abbiamo apprezzato l’ambiente, il servizio efficiente e discreto, il menù personalizzato con gradevoli portate anche fuori dagli standard. La scelta dei vini è piuttosto varia.

A little off the beaten track this restaurant was just what we were looking for in Milan. The restaurant ambience is cozy and the only “music” is the sound of tableware and human voices. There are several levels and areas with varying degrees of privacy. There is display of fresh fish at the entry. The waiter spoke English and couldn’t have been more pleasant. We had a few delicious fresh oysters which were quite briny and flavorful. I had the fregola sarda scampi vongole and my partner had paccheri allo scorfano and we shared the entree fried shrimp, lobster, calamari, and zucchini. The waiter suggested a pleasant wine which went perfectly with our food choices and was quite reasonable price-wise. The entire experience was quite lovely, the food was delicious and the staff were helpful and attentive.

Locale di stampo tradizionale sia per l’ambientazione che per la cucina, frequentato da uomini d’affari e da una clientela abbastanza matura. Pesce gustoso e molto ben preparato, antipasti veramente memorabili e ottimi primi, carta dei vini abbastanza ridotta ma con buone proposte e con ricarichi molto onesti. Servizio gentile e rapido, conto finale assolutamente corretto e senz’altro sotto la media milanese( da considerare anche la piccola pasticceria offerta e il mirto). Da ritornarci di corsa.
