Zampagna In Roma

Last night I had yet another confirmation of the goodness of this restaurant. I have been there on various occasions and have always found friendly staff, delicious dishes and the right atmosphere. Valid for any occasion, I highly recommend it!

We waited a very long time for the food. I got an almost cold cacio e pepe, not very tasty by the way, and my husband got burnt lasagne with artichokes.

Friendly staff and excellent service, very good bruschetta, the only negative note was that there was really too much fat from the bacon in the grill (photo). For the rest, the gricia was still good but all that fat made it a little difficult to eat, I must have been unlucky because in any case it seemed like a top Roman trattoria.

Historic restaurant (since 1924) in Ostiense, a stone's throw from the Basilica of San Paolo. Informal, genuine and very nice both inside and out 😉 what about the dishes? All excellent, executed with the Roman craftsmanship you expect from a "real" trattoria. Boiled meatballs, Jewish artichokes, fried anchovies, octopus with potatoes and, above all (finally!) Roman saltimbocca "crafted", as they say in Rome. Thanks to Andrea and Gigi for their kindness and laughter. See you soon 😀

Trattoria Zampagna, I went there out of curiosity since I was working in the area, I must say excellent welcome and good food, very courteous and approachable staff, no objections, everything was good and dream Carbonara. It is certainly a place that I highly recommend. Especially suitable for students as it is in the San Paolo-Roma Tre area, normal prices and generous portions. 💪💪

Typical Roman trattoria with good quality/price ratio. Recommended. Close to the Basilica of San Paolo Outside the Walls.

Storica trattoria romana che compirá 100 anni tra pochi mesi, situata nei pressi della Basilica di San Paolo fuori le mura, in una zona centrale ma fuori dal caos e dal giro dei locali turistici, con ampio parcheggio antistante. Si percepisce subito che non si tratta di un locale per turisti, anche per l’alto tasso di locali presenti ai tavoli. A menu c’è praticamente tutto lo scibile della tradizionale cucina romana, dai carciofi alla giudia o alla romana alle polpette, dai grandi primi (inclusi pajata e coda) all’abbacchio, saltimbocca e coda alla vaccinara, anche se non sempre hanno disponibile tutto ciò che vedete sul menu (il che mi fa ben pensare circa la freschezza delle materie prime). Io prendo i rigatoni alla pajata (divini, conditissimi e molto abbondanti, circa 150 g di pasta) e l’abbacchio al forno (si scioglieva in bocca, fantastico). Dolce sorprendente, mousse al triplo cioccolato da alta pasticceria. Conto da trattoria non turistica, quindi ottimo. Servizio velocissimo e personale simpatico e mai invadente. Ci tornerò senz’altro.

Sono venuto a Roma per il fine settimana e volevo assolutamente mangiare nella tipica trattoria romana di conseguenza, malgrado andassi a cena con amici romani,ho cercato io il posto giusto. Il rischio era grosso potevo fare una brutta figura mentre invece è stato tutto ottimo:il cibo e il servizio è ho fatto un figurone ! Bravissimi ! N.B. Mai avevo mangiato delle puntarelle così buone …ma era tutto buonissimo
