Zin Zan In Perugia

The chef makes dishes beyond sublime... Fantastic meat ravioli and delicious bao zi. She is incredibly kind. Super recommended

We met Zin Zan by chance and after tasting the bao zi we decided to stop for dinner. Chen tells us we are lucky because the place usually works on reservation but still lets us sit down to taste the delicious and authentic Taiwanese dishes that she prepares herself with fresh ingredients every day. Wonderful baos, space dumplings, pulled chicken and dreamy braised pork! The bill, with 2 beers, is 35 euros, more than honest considering that everything is prepared without pre-cooked or frozen foods. Chen stops to talk to us and tells us a little about her story as a tireless worker who does her utmost to run her place with passion and love for her land. We were really impressed by his kindness and friendliness, as well as by the goodness of the dishes, finally real ethnic cuisine! We will definitely be back to try new dishes and we wish Chen a huge "good luck" for his business and his dreams!

Zin Zan is a very small place in the streets of Perugia. Personally, I was enchanted, both for the dishes and for the owner (as well as chef). Chen prepares everything freshly, even the plant-based dishes, which is extremely rare (very, very vegan friendly). Being a regular visitor to Asian restaurants, I can say that not even in Milan, a city that offers an incredible variety of choice, have I ever tasted such refined and good dishes.

Piccolo ristorante tipico Taiwanese: una meraviglia! Il locale è piccolo, il menù altrettanto, ma varia leggermente a seconda del periodo. La titolare è gentilissima, preparata e cucina con amore. Dire che i piatti sono buoni è riduttivo, sono eccezionali! La cucina asiatica migliore che abbia mai assaggiato! Eccezionale la scelta vegana/vegetariana. Più che consigliato, obbligatorio passarci! Piccolo locale di cucina taiwanese, piatti preparati al momento. Alcuni piatti necessitano di essere ordinati il giorno prima visto che vengono fatti tutti a mano. Buonissimo. Consigliatissimo

Esperienza super positiva. La titolare è gentilissima. La cucina è ottima: tutto fatto a mano al momento, con cura, passione e materie prime ottime. Posto molto tranquillo in quartiere molto particolare di Perugia. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consiglierei soltanto di promuovere meglio in vetrina il menù e la speciale artigianalità della cucina
