Located in the alley adjacent to the Mercadante Theater and a stone's throw (in the true sense of the word) from Piazza Municipio, A Taverna Do Rè fully reflects its name! In fact, the welcoming venue looks like a real traditional Neapolitan tavern, with its home-made colors and scents. The structure is on two levels plus an outdoor space, ideal for a characteristic lunch in the "Neapolitan alley" illuminated by the Neapolitan sun. The lower room is characterized by the presence of the pizza oven, a warm and engaging environment. The proximity to the pizza counter and the oven creates a perfect symbiosis with the pizza chef Luciano, a true dough professional who "accommodates" your tastes with love and passion. You are sitting at the table waiting for the pizza, experiencing the same wait as participation in the preparation: the disk of dough that turns and rolls out before your eyes, the always fresh ingredients cut on the spot and the scent that emanates from the oven. The pizza is excellent, with light dough and high quality products that are always fresh. Also worth trying are the panuozzi and the padellino, which is a crunchy pizza to be filled as you prefer, characterized by being cooked twice in the oven. The upper room, however, is more reserved but at the same time "engaging". The environment is characterized by the presence of numerous bottles of wine and the enveloping scent of typical Neapolitan traditional dishes. Smells that whet the appetite: Genoese, ragù, cod... The kitchen, in fact, precedes and is adjacent to the room. The sight of the dishes being prepared by chef Francesco, tradition and innovation, are an invitation to tasting! Annalisa, sommelier, is a perfect hostess who advises you and directs you in your choice. Massimo, on the other hand, manages the rooms and welcomes the guests of the tavern with his "Neapolitan style". Excellent selection of wines and craft beers, highly recommended is the Vesuvian Craft Beer with Catalanesca grape must (typical Vesuvian grape), a unique flavour, due to the fusion of malts and grape must, to be tried both with pizza and other dishes of sea". I was by chance eating in this tavern, the first thing that comes to my mind is the quality found, in everything starting from the table linen, passing through the water and the cellar with more than 200 labels and a pizza made by Luciano, the pizza chef with attributes to sell, here a classic fresh tomato is made with the pendulum, crazy, I highly recommend everyone a greeting to Massimo who is a hare in the room and entertains 💪💪

Dans une petite ruelle, à l'écart du bruit. Petite salle sympa, de bonnes bouteilles bien en vue. Un couple aux commandes, la patronne parle Français et a le sourire facile, sympa. Bon Prosceco bien frais, pas de grignotage, dommage. Plat simple, cuisine savoureuse et saine, comme à la maison. Avons choisi de la saucisse, des épinards et des frites maison. Un verre de vin rouge, à la hauteur. Pour terminer un mille feuilles, au feuilletage exceptionnel, un régal. Pain de qualité bien frais. Couple sympa, patronne très conviviale. Nous reviendrons. Ho trovato sto locale passeggiando per i vicoli antistanti il molo beverello. Ho mangiato un ottima Margherita napoletana , ben cotta e soprattutto gustosa e deliziosa da consigliare a tutti i passanti.
