Went here with some friends, had an 8PM reservation on a Friday night. Great food and people. 20 Euro for a full meal plus dessert, wine, & aperitifs. A must-go.

It”s like an 80’s restaurant, frozen in time, everything, ambiance, design, service, plating. The food was good, very tasty, but not extraordinary, wine was mediocre though. It’s a good choice, but not exactly a place you’d want to come back.

Visited here based on travel blog recommendation. Was a bit disappointed with the food. My carbonara was too salty, my wife's steak was seasoned well but the meat was really chewy, my daughter's roast chicken and pasta was very dry. One really good thing was my other daughter's spaghetti w marinara. It was maybe the best I've ever tasted so we all ate some of it. Stick with the spaghetti and house wine.

This hidden gem of a restaurant is less than five minutes from the Trevi Fountain but you might as well be five miles from all of the hustle and bustle there. It was an easy 20 minute walk from our hotel at the Plaza Repubblica to this establishment.
This restaurant has been around for quite some time and it was very enjoyable watching the regulars and locals come in and joke with the waiters.
Our waiter was excellent. Picture the quintessential Italian waiter and this was our guy. Very warm and accommodating and took a moment to suggest which of the two wines that I was looking at was a better pairing for our meal.
My wife had the pasta with peas, mushrooms and tomato sauce. I had their stuffed Cannelloni. Each dish was tasty and I found the Cannelloni to be very light. At first I thought it would be heavy and loaded with cheese but it was not.
The hit of the night was the turkey breast with peas. This is the first time that I saw turkey on the menu and I just had to give it a try. Dish was quite simple but you can tell the chef really knows his business when he prepared it. The turkey breast just has a simple egg wash coating and is fried. Think veal breaded veal without the breading. the turkey was moist and tender. Quite the dish.
At the end of the meal they offer a digestif on the house. You can select an Amaro or green liquor that is flavored with mint & anise. Sorry, I don't remember the name of this liquor. Our waiter put both bottles on our table and told us to take a sip to see which one we would prefer.
Once we selected the Amaro, he took away our glasses and brought us new ones with instructions to pour ourselves a shot. I told him I have a heavy hand when it comes to pouring liquor and I would prefer that he do the honors.
Honestly, every dinner we had in Rome was good but this restaurant is special. I would go back there is a heartbeat. Grazie Mille
