While passing through the bike route, I found friendliness, kindness and thoughtfulness that make this mountain hut a wonderful place in the presence of Peralba. I had an excellent cheese sandwich and a beer, but I plan to go back!

We used the Malga as a stopover on the “Karnischer Höhenweg” to defuse the stage between Hochweißsteinhaus and Porzehütte. We made our reservation via text message, which went quickly and without any problems. The rooms are definitely very basic, but that's absolutely fine for one night. We were the only overnight guests and had the boss's full attention, who tried very hard to provide us with delicious food both in the evening and for breakfast. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.

Leggendo alcune recensioni, scritte forse da chi va a mangiar fuori due volte al mese, magari dividendo una pizza in due, si rimane un pò spiazzati. Se si pensa che in quella posizione incontaminata non arrivano le facilitazioni dell'energia elettrica e del gas, i prezzi proposti potrebbero benissimo essere più alti. Invece sono corretti, la qualità è al top, la cortesia anche. Si è in una malga a quasi 2000 metri e trovare la genuinità d'altri tempi, nell'epoca degli inutili "influencer" fa davvero piacere e bene all'anima! Gli animali liberi sono nel loro territorio, siano essi cani, pecore, capre o mucche...siamo noi gli intrusi, ed è meglio impariamo a comportarci come tali. NB. Ci vogliono 2 ore e mezza a salire...noi con 3 bambini, tra cui una bambina di 3 anni, ci abbiamo messo 3 ore

Abbiamo avuto modo di pranzare alla malga dopo l'ascesa da Val Visdende di 3 ore. Sulla tabella, ai piedi del sentiero, sono segnalate 2 h per arrivarci, ma bisogna avere le ali ai piedi perché noi saremo anche stati lenti, ma almeno 2 h e mezza, 2h e tre quarti ci vogliono tutte. Al di là di questo, il menù che offre la malga non è molto vario, ma il cibo offerto è sicuramente genuino. Le porzioni sono nella media e i prezzi leggermente altini per quello che viene offerto. Tuttavia, i gestori sono stati molto cordiali e disponibili. [Piccola nota a margine: prima di arrivare alla malga abbiamo trovato un gregge di pecore con un cane maremmano a guardia, il cane era libero e ci è venuto incontro abbaiandoci in maniera un po' aggressiva, sembrava veramente volesse morderci, per fortuna non è successo nulla. Ora, è chiaro che il cane stava facendo il suo mestiere, ma mi domando se non fosse stato opportuno metterlo in sicurezza visto che la zona è frequentata da turisti. Erano presenti anche altri due cani legati a degli alberi, anche loro abbaiavano in maniera piuttosto feroce, ma almeno, per l'appunto, erano legati].
