Zero km farmhouse just outside Forenza! What can I say, besides being very beautiful, you also eat really well! Excellent and plentiful appetizer (unbeatable sausage and beans), a first course chosen from a choice of three, and as a second course a very tender lamb cooked really well.....to finish sweet, fruit, coffee and bitter....the all for 35 euros each. Also noteworthy is the availability and friendliness of the owner and all the staff! 💯

For those who want to taste good typical Lucanian cuisine I highly recommend it. Book in advance.

Special mention for the panorama that ranges from the Gargano passing through Minervino and other half of Puglia... The truly genuine, good and plentiful menu: the appetizer included a series of typical local dishes with home-grown products, excellent first courses, superlative 'lamb. The owner is a really warm and friendly host and the staff equally kind and helpful. Excellent value for money. To return again and again

For a quiet Sunday it's the right place. Genuine food, family management and kind people. You leave calm and... full! Various tasty and plentiful home-made appetizers; choice of 3 first courses (variable based on season and availability of raw materials) TOP ravioli filled with cod with bran peppers. Only the lamb-based second course was good but perhaps it could have been made up of better pieces (4-5 pieces but small - more bones than meat so to speak) salad and chips as a side dish. Menu not variable for food choices (but varies for intolerances). Complete menu (starters, first course, second course, side dish, water, good Aglianico wine, fruit and dessert) €35; without second course €30; without first course €33. Some tables also received some unsolicited extra encores... (even if they didn't know the guests to specify) To our no... too bad! I hope next time 😛 Clean bathrooms No photos! I didn't have time 😉 And then you find yourself there, go and visit the Fronttusio lake...relaxing to sit by the lake and watch the ducks!
