Restaurant is really cozy, seated us quickly (we had reservations) and has a beautiful romantic table for 2 outside on the canal (we saw a proposal there!). The food was all consistently good. There were other restaurants on our trip that knocked our socks off a little more than this one, but Ai Barbacani is still a fantastic dinner option in Venice.

Thank you for a great evening! Reservation worked perfectly. The food was excellent and the service from the nice lady was perfect The atmosphere was very nice and really nicely designed

Very pretty little typically Venetian restaurant. The welcome is perfect, with even little touches such as 2 glasses of prossecos and appetizers upon arrival. There is even a table overlooking a canal, so romantic!

I really wanted to try and enjoy the experience at Ai Barbacani Restaurant 🇮🇹 The restaurant maintains a traditional and very cozy essence, likewise, the location is unique and unbeatable, the views from certain tables in the establishment are an unforgettable experience. In low season you can pay a supplement of €40 per person and book the famous month, in which you can enjoy spectacular views of the canal. ✨ We ordered some mussels and clams 🦪 sautéed with garlic for starters (€18 per plate) and for main courses we ordered the Ravioloni ricotta and spinach 🍝 (€23 per plate, few come) and the Rigatoni total black with cuttlefish ink (€23 the plate). In total we paid about €70. I would repeat without a doubt!

We had dinner here on our last night in Venice. The atmosphere was lovely and receiving a glass of prosecco upon arrival is a nice tough too! The food was good - although I did expect it to be better.

This has been my favourite restaurant so far in Venice. It was my wife’s birthday, and I was looking for something special and romantic for her. This didn’t disappoint at all! There is a really relaxing vibe here, and the food is exceptional and well priced. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. If we visit Venice again in the future, this will be where we eat. My only criticism is for the 200 euros deposit that you have to pay to get the canal view table.
