Al Castello In Marineo

06/03/2024: Luciano prepared an absolutely exquisite three-course meal for us at his elegant apartment in the historic center of Palermo. We asked for fish rather than meat, and every dish was an original, extraordinary creation, both delicious and beautiful, accompanied by a top-notch Sicilian white wine. While we were more than happy to talk with Luciano about his work and life in Sicily, he was very discreet and left us to talk and eat by ourselves also. It was a unique, unforgettable way to spend an evening in fascinating Palermo.

08/11/2023: Five stars deserved! Among the pleasures of being in Palermo there is also food, and simple street food is not lacking, but treating yourself to an experience of excellent Palermo cuisine, revisited in an elegant way, becomes a gem. Luciano with his home restaurant turns out to be a good choice: very fresh products prepared to perfection. As well as being an excellent chef, he is also an excellent host and immediately makes you feel at ease. The warm and pleasant environment is accompanied by excellent music in the background. A three-course menu chosen together with him (for those who wish there is also a tasting menu) is excellent for the eyes and the palate. Starter rated 10, main course rated 10, dessert rated 10.
