Al Ceppo In Roma

I fully understand that we are in Parioli but you can't spend 80.00 euros for a cut and an appetizer of 2 artichokes! In short, the dessert needs to be seen again.

Dining at Al Ceppo isn't only enjoying a delicious dinner and excellent service, it's also a wonderful experience in a very special ambiance. Roman society at it's best.

Il tagliolino carbonara e tartufo è assolutamente strepitoso. Molto buoni anche i pacchetti con la ricciola e le vongole veraci. L'atmosfera è incredibile, i tavoli comodissimi. Che dire, assolutamente da non perdere.

Excellent restaurant in Parioli, a chic neighborhood in the center of Rome, where it has now become a true institution! The environment is very welcoming, the furnishings are very refined and you feel like you are in the living room at home! The clientele is very select and accustomed to enjoying the generous portions of meat, of excellent choice, cooked in the most varied ways, but above all on the grill. The fish dishes are also tasty, like the raw prawns I ate last time. The traditional first courses such as the mega ravioli with herb filling are also delicious! The focaccia is special and shows off as soon as you sit at the table next to the mega breadsticks, always fragrant! A restaurant worth a visit!

Ottimo livello sia della cucina che della cantina.

Ambiente raffinato con una cucina curata. Carta dei vini davvero fornita. Ottimo servizio anche per un nutrito gruppo.

Ristorante elegante, ottimo servizio rapido e cortese. La cena tuttavia non mi è piaciuta. I vincisgrassi erano insipidi. E il dolce niente di che.

Grande accoglienza ottima cucina

In famiglia frequentiamo Al Ceppo da molto tempo. Da sempre lo reputo un ottimo risorante, molto classico e tradizionale, un posto dove si mangia molto bene e dove si bada più alla sostanza e meno ai fronzoli. La sala all'entrata con la griglia e il "tavolone" resta la parte più bella; un po' datate, ma sempre all'altezza le altre sale, un po' meno all'altezza il servizio considerando il livello e le (giuste per carità) pretese del ristorante. Pecche come i camerieri che passano davanti anzichè di lato, il conto con lo scontrino messo in un bicchiere di vetro trasparente sono cose che stonano, soprattutto prendendo in considerazione i prezzi. I prezzi sono l'unica cosa con cui faccio un po' fatica ad andare d'accordo, antipasti tutti da 20 euro in sù, i primi idem, secondi da 30 euro in sù. Le pietanze sono buone ma si tratta di piatti "normali", carne (ottima) alla brace, non ci sono particolari elaborazioni. La qualità è ottima, il gusto anche, ma 30 euro per delle costolette d'abbacchio scottadito...c'è fa pensarci un attimo. Al di là di tutto, resta un ottimo ristorante, da provare senz'altro.
