Al Veluu Ristorante & Suites In Tremezzo

My husband and I visited for our honeymoon in August 2022. When we arrived there was an issue with a reservation we made a few months in advance but staff saw to it that we had a table and were quickly seated. The view is outstanding and our meal was one of the best we had during our stay in Italy, let alone Como. Fresh caught fish and organic veggies from the garden were delicious as were the zucchini flowers! Next time we find ourselves in Italy, we will be sure to stop ❤️

We stayed in a panoramic lake view suite & ate at the restaurant. The view alone would have been worth it but it did not stop there. The owner personally welcomed us into the hotel before going to the local fish market for our fresh dinner that night. We felt as if we were staying at a relatives house with how clean, cozy and homey the suite was with all the amenities of a little apartment. We forewent all our plans to sit on our private balcony and enjoy the view. This was the last leg of our long trip so it even felt nice to make ourselves snacks and tea in the kitchen and enjoy a movie night with their living room Netflix account. Wish we stayed here longer as it was a place we immediately settled in to.

This is a restaurant on Lake Como that should not be missed. Delicious garden to table vegetables and ingredients along with the best fish and meat dishes. Al Valuu has been operated by the Antonini family for many years. Now by sons Luca and Adriano, along with Luca’s wife, Cheryl. The beautiful villa also has several guest suites. The terrace of the restaurant high above Tremezzo has one of the most beautiful vistas on the Lake. Reservations for lunch and dinner a must. Treat yourself while visiting beautiful Lake Como. The family has also recently acquired and restored the original old Riva boat service center on the Lake in Menaggio, Lario Boat Service, also a treat to visit.
