Very good food and Pasta Alfredo is really the star of the restaurant. Perhaps a little too touristy, especially due to the wine list, which only had wines priced at more than €40 per bottle.

The food is good. The Alfredo pasta is simple but very tasty.
Gave 3 stars because the service was so bad. It felt like the waiters were doing us a favor.
Me and my wife ordered 2 starters and tried to share a pasta, but they didn’t allowed saying that the house rules say that each must order one dish. I have never seen this in any other city in the world. They just try to squeeze everything possible from each table. The money is important, not the costumer.
Despite the food was good, I wouldn’t come back.

Special evening in excellent company. A late dinner in memory of times gone by. Fettuccine and ecstatic wine. We were served immediately and with kindness. The fried food is also very good. I'll be back!

Talking about "Alfredo" is like writing a piece of the great history of Rome. Over the decades, this venue has taken on an important place among the best venues in the capital. Deservedly. And thanks to those fettuccine that expert hands make it, even today, an incomparable dish. An absolute marvel. Superlatives. And who have made the history of this place, once frequented by VIPs who gravitated to Rome. Those gold cutlery donated by Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford to enhance these fantastic fettuccine are a gem. “Alfredo”, however, does not live on reflected glory, but on a light all his own that does not feel the passing of the years. The Augusteo restaurant is still an essential stop today for those who love good food and real flavours. And those fabulous fettuccine.

En el mundo entero se comen pastas. En Italia más aún. Es casi imposible decir cual es la mejor pasta, pero si saber cual es una “buena pasta”. Il vero Alfredo no solo es buena pasta, sino que además es tradición , es familia y es trabajo, lo que le da un plus muy por encima de otros restaurantes. Hermoso lugar de la familia Di Lelio. Muy buena atención con precios razonables de acuerdo al producto. Tuvimos la oportunidad de poder hablar con sus propietarias y sacarnos tradicionales fotos. Vuelvo!
