I was looking forward to trying this restaurant. We are staying outside of the downtown core and were hoping for some great Italian food and great service. We did have great food and were served by two waiters. One was genuinely nice and the other kept bringing bread baskets to our table. I was quite shocked when at the end he charged us for each bread basket. And there is also the dreaded cover charge. Great food but cannot recommend it. I sincerely dislike establishments who try to take advantage of guests.

We finally tried Altrogiro: The place is quite elegant and the atmosphere is soft, even romantic. The dishes are well presented and they also add substance to the form, you will not be left with a half-empty stomach. The traditional first courses are accompanied by interesting reinterpretations. The sea bass au gratin was good and plentiful. However, the TOP remains the service: From entering the room to leaving we were accompanied and pampered by an ever-present, competent and very attentive service. Difficult to find better ones. Well done! The only flaw: no paper placemats!

Un locale molto accogliente con una cantina variegata con ampia scelta, e un menù di prodotti stagionali con ricette molto appetitose sia di pesce che di carne. Ottimi i carciofi alla giudia con cacio e pepe, la cotoletta di vitello orecchio di elefante.

Ristorante di quartiere, nel senso buono del termine. Gestione amichevole, personale gentile, menu solido di cose buone. Ottima carne molto ben preparata. Bravi.

We made a reservation here for my wife's birthday on our second day in Rome. This restaurant was a hidden gem! The food was amazing, the service was great and we had a great time. Hands down the best pasta we had our entire trip to Italy, as well as the wine. If you are in the area this is a MUST to stop on and have dinner.

20/03/2024: My partner found this place on Google and being a lover of good rare meat, he took me there for my birthday, and what can I say, a splendid discovery. Excellent quality food and expert staff capable of enhancing it from starters to dessert, very quiet place and fantastic service We were truly pampered in every way, we will definitely return and bring other people with us Thanks for everything and see you soon ❤️
17/03/2024: Tonight pizza for two people. Excellent choice on the side dish instead of the starter. Really good Japan style vegetable wok and delicious courgette flower. Excellent mozzarella and sausage pizza and gourmet anchovy pizza with truly special dough 👍. Dolomite beer....all served quickly. Prices normal. The cashier is kind.
