08/04/2024: Ancient hotel on the border between Piedmont and Liguria. Really friendly owner and staff. If you're on a bike, there's a large shelter that can hold plenty of bikes safely, flanked by a gym. I don't know if the gym can be used by customers or not. The rooms are basic. There were some broken sockets in mine, but the problem was solved with a multiplier. They are fine if you are passing through, rather than for spending many days. It is better to book directly over the phone or on the hotel website, rather than using intermediaries. Single €38. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant with the €35 menu, which becomes €38 with a bottle of water and cover charge, excluding wines. All good, with local cuisine, apart from the smoked salmon.
